Dea snuggled into his bed, hiding under the sheets and blankets happily. She poked her head out and covered it with a pillow so that only part of her neck was visible. She liked bundling up.

Again, Michael stretched and walked out into the room. At first, not seeing Dea made him wonder if he was hallucinating. Upon further inspection he realized his blurry eyes were deceiving him.

He curled up under the blankets next to her and slightly picked up the pillow. "You scared me for a second," he whispered as he wrapped his arms around her.

"How?" she asked sleepily, curling up next to him automatically. He was warm.

"I thought you were gone... I was scared and hurt..." he said sorrowfully. "But I found you again! And it made me happy!" The delight was back.

He found her hand and brought it to his mouth. "Now let us sleep." He kissed her hand and wrapped back around her, planning to drift off into a dream... although... what could've been better?

Dea blushed heavily. She was glad he had his eyes closed. She almost wished he was straight...No. That's what got her mother killed. She couldn't afford to fall in love with any human.

Michael woke up mere hours later to find his hand resting in a relatively awkward place. He began sliding it toward her head just before realizing her dress would rise. He picked his hand up and brushed her hair out of her face.

"Good morning, my goddess. Are you awake yet?" he called quietly.

Dea yawned and curled closer to him, still fast asleep. She reached out to hug him in her sleep.

He replied with a hug and a kiss on her forehead. He began to get up to make her breakfast.

Do I even HAVE food for breakfast?! He raided his cabinets and refrigerator to realize he had to make a run to the store. ((This doesn't warrant a new thread does it?))

He grabbed his wallet, keys, and backpack. He hoped to get her something she would enjoy.

Dea rolled over, frowning in her sleep. She reached for Michael, only to discover he wasn't there. She opened her eyes in confusion. Remembering the events of the past night, she blushed and sat up.

Michael jogged to the nearby corner market and grabbed eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, milk, cream for coffee, bread, butter, grape jelly, and some cookies.

After checking out he started his way toward home.

Dea got out of bed and looked around. She couldn't find Michael anywhere. She was a little worried, but she could feel that he was safe and that he would be back soon. She continued exploring the apartment, picking things up and putting them back down. She didn't recognize anything...

Michael reached the door and realized he was hearing footsteps... She must be up! He hurriedly unlocked and opened the door, looking for her. He sat the backpack by the fridge and went to hug her, where ever she may be.

"Dea?" he called out.

Dea had been on the ceiling, poking a light bulb. At the sound of her name she jumped down gracefully to land in front of him. "Yes?" she asked cheerfully.

He jumped back and then forward again to wrap his arms around her. "You scared me again! So, would you like bacon, sausage, biscuits, or just some toast? As well, I have coffee and milk. As a last resort, I grabbed cookies."

"I have no idea what any of that stuff is," she said happily. "Except milk, of course. But I can try human food!"
