Grim scraped her chair across the hardwood floor, pulling herself closer to her computer. She had been tracking down a missing girl for the past two days. Haley, was the girls name. She wasn't a day over eleven and some sick pervert was keeping her locked up. When her parents had come to Grim's office they brought a photo. Cute kid.

Skelly gingerly walked up to the front door, softly knocking on the solid oak.

"It's me" She whispered.

Opening her door and waving a hand towards her office, which she also called home, she watched Skelly carefully.
Most female Shadows never make it through their whole pregnancy and Skelly was in a very delicate condition.

"When are you going to stop walking around?" Grim asked bringing her brow together.

"When you start calling" She replied, bending her knees and leaning awkwardly towards a large chair. "Are you going to offer me a drink or what?"

Without another word Grim headed towards her kitchen.

"You know I don't like to use telephones" She smirked "I'm old fashioned"

Handing Skelly her drink she softened her face.

"How many months has it been now?"

"eleven, too many if you ask me" She answered. "Only twelve more left"

Skelly smiled from ear to ear, she had always wanted to have children. Although she doubted if she could handle having any more after the birth of this one.

"You know, you never really get used to the bump" She exclaimed, looking around the apartment for evidence of Grim over-working herself.

Her eyes fell to the photo on Grim's desk, it was on a slight tilt against a desk lamp.

"Is that a new case?"

"Yeah, missing girl named Haley" Grim replied. Taking a seat on the couch she sprawled her legs out, relaxing.

"The parents think some old pervert just grabbed her right out of the school yard" She continued, mindlessly running her index finger over forehead.

Skelly thought for a moment before speaking up.

"And what do you think?"

Immediately Grim's eyes met Skelly's.

"Bullshit"

Standing up, Grim walked towards her desk and picked up her photo album.
Deciding on a photo, she removed her clothes and arched her back.
For the remainder of this investigation she would be Lucille.

"You can stay if you want, the bedroom is upstairs if you get tired" She said, her bright eyes twinkling.

Before leaving, Grim walked towards the wall behind the desk, pulling it aside revealing a closet.
After pulling out a dress and some boots she left the apartment.
