It was the middle of a battle. The wind whipped through Nobari's hair as he flung hiself up into the air, into the clouds that awaited him. Long black hair flying in the wind, he looked down to see the monster following him. A huge mechanical creature with monstrous limbs was flying up after him. It's metal was rusty, and it's eyes glowed a wierd gray color. The evil behemoth was trying to reach up at Nobari, who was now soaring even higher into the sky. Ushio, Nobari's 8 month old brother, mewed inside the baby holder as the two were flying even more high. Nobari was a good jumper, he had leapt almost to the atmosphere, the behemoth was a good jumper too though, and it looked like they wouldn't be able to dodge. Nobari smirked.

''You know the bigger you are the harder you fall Tin can?'' He said as his one eye, the one with blue fire all around it, glowed again as he loaded up the massive bazooka in his arms. The bazooka was 15 feet long, and Nobari held it as if it were a mere feather. He pulled the trigger and a shockwave of missles fired into the behemoth's hand. The creature made a gargled roar in pain as it began falling backwards. Nobari smirked and loaded another shot. ''Should've stayed good sweety. You know I'd be coming after you.'' With a grin he fired the last missle. The missle shot through the creature's brain, killing it in one shot.

The 100 foot creature landed in the waters about two miles away from Skyler. The waves didn't rise though as the creature disintegrated into the ocean. Nobari quickly grabbed out the bazooka and shot it into the water, causing him to be propelled up and away from the waves. He landed on his feet only 1 meter from Skyler. Taking the bazooka he whispered ''Hide.'' The bazooka turned from 15 feet into a small pistol which Nobari hid into his pocket. The boy looked like a girl and sounded like one too. It wouldn't be hard to mistaken him for a girl.

Ushio made another mew sound. Nobari didn't see Skyler still and yawned. ''That was a little boring...It could've been a longer fight if it wasn't such a wimp...'' He yawned. It was now apparent he had weapons of all kinds in his belt. Some looked like ordinary appliances, while there was a katana strapped to the belt as well.

In character:

Nobari flipped back the two ponytails that were starting to get in the way. He quietly took out what seemed to be a blackberry and was typing in something before placing it into his pocket. Smirking, he was about to walk when he froze. He sensed another person. Nobari's eye twitched as he had just realized he wasn't the only one here.

Why didn't I see this before?? His mind raced as he turned around slowly to see a person staring at him. His eyebrow twitched. Trying to get back his cool, Nobari observed who he was dealing with. He tried to disguise what he had been doing earlier.

''Uh...Hey...'' He tried to remain casual.

Nobari finally snapped out of the casualness and looked a little intimidating as he tried to hide the battle from notice.

''You did not see anything in the ocean did you?'' He asked sharply, blue eyes narrowing. Was this an enemy? Nobody else was on the beach, but hopefully this person wasn't evil.

Hmmm... maybe I should kill him, since he knows my appearance now... but what about that kid he's holding...

Sky thought, unmoving and not paying attention. Still shocked...

Nobari could tell this person was deciding something. And was probably shocked as hell. He wasn't going to press the guy into talking, but he had to keep an eye that this person had not seen the battle. Ushio mewed, then made a small eh sound. The child was sensing a lethal person in front of them. Nobari didn't think it would be the guy in front of him. It didn't seem like there was anything too evil here. Ushio made another eh.

He tapped his foot. ''Well? Did you see anything or not?'' He sounded impatient.

Orphanage? I think it would work, but I would have to act when he least expects it.

Skyler thought, then he replies to Nobari by saying, "Oh... Um, what are you talking about sir?"

Nobari sighed and rolled his eyes. People these days.....

''I said, did you see anything out of the ordinary?'' He narrowed his eyes. The eye that was on blue fire flared a little, since he was annoyed at the man. Ushio made a loud eh, as if he were really bothered. Nobari couldn't tell what was wrong though, but now he held a small gun in case anything did happen.

Nobari smirked, glad that the guy didn't see what had happened.

''No I havent't. Was just asking.'' He looked to the gun and flipped it around in his hand. ''So what brings you to the beach today? I thought it was closed you see, so I never expected someone to show up.'' He replied, one eye still staring at Skyler.

''Hmph.'' Nobari said, then his eyes widened. The fire covered eye suddenly flared and one moment he was holding a gun, next he held a katana. He spun around and sliced at something. There came a sound of something screeching.

A lizard-like creature fell to the ground, dead.

Nobari stared at it, waiting for it to move again, but seeing he had killed it, he turned back to Skyler.

''This area is slightly dangerous. There are many creeps here like that guy there. Do you think you'd be able to handle them....assasssin?'' He asked, raising an eyebrow. He now knew this since Ushio had been scared of Skyler before, and if he wasn't a monster, then he had to be something else. This was merely a guess.
