"What? He..."

She closed her eyes.

"How long has he been alive again?"

She thought back to the smell. "Not too long. A week maybe. Maybe less. I'm not too sure."

"I... I see," she said quietly.

"He's a bastard though. I wouldn't trust him if I were you."

"He's my father. At the very least he has the right to know that my mother is dead. He loved her. No matter what wrong he has done you he is still my father and I owe him at least that much."

"I'm not so sure he loved her. Apparently, he's done some things with some girl since he's been reincarnated. And he raped me. I doubt he'll care." Her voice and face contained no emotion.

"I know he loved her," she said with a sigh, "but perhaps he has changed with death."

"Maybe," she said noncomitedly.

She sighed and looked out onto the water, lost in thought.

~/My father. He has hurt someone. And hurt them deeply. And... it cannot be him. Not the man my mother described. She was far too kind in her words of him for him to be able to do that./~

Angel blinked. She sat down, but didn't turn back to the ocean. She wasn't about to turn her back to Tensenga's daughter.

She sighed.

"You're obviously uncomfortable just to have me around," she said, and moved to the edge of the cliff, "you know, my mother saw him here once. Before she remembered-"

She cut herself off with a strange sound.

"Nevermind. Oh well. Good night."

With that, she jumped into the water.

Angel leaned over to watch her, her face still blank. Was she dead?

Hitomi resurfaced after a couple moments underwater, throwing back her head before beginning the swim to shore.

Angel leaned away, satasfied that she wasn't dead.
