Maikeru had just come out of a music studio going over rhythm and cords with various artists. Music was one thing he could enjoy thoroughly, in this line of work he meet a concert pianist whom he enjoyed playing with beethoven, mozart, and boak. After spending his whole day recording wore him and out and thought treating himself to coffee and cake would be a nice change of pace.

Standing on the side of the counter maikeru looked at the menu and went through of list of coffee, cakes, sandwhiches and specials. "So many choices." he pouted put his index finger on his head and poking it repeatively.

Zema, seeing her friend in the cafe stopped. It was Maikeru, someone she had not seen in what seemed like forever. She silently went into the store and came up behind him. But not to scare him. Reaching over his shoulder the best she could she pointed to a picture on the menu and whispered to his ear. "Thats my favorite." She whispered, smiling.

Maikeru hit his head on the glass with the desserts ranging from pies to cakes and rubbed his head squatting down. "Ow." was all he said though he said it as if he hadn't realized he'd been hit.

Zema raised her eyebrow and looked at him. "Are you alright...?"

"I'm fine. What are you doing here?" he asked curiously checking a small bump on his head now. "Not that I'm not glad to see you!" he interjected.

Zema sighed. "What else? I'm here for cakes and other goodies that are bad for me." She took a quick glance at his head. "Are you sure your fine...? You know there was something there." xD

"Don't worry about me, I haven't seen you around town in bit. Where have you been?" he asked though truth be told the reason he hadn't seen her was because he'd been locked in his lab.

Zema tilted her head. "Uh, just around town really. Nothing new here." She pressed her lips together and raised an eyebrow. "Where have you been? I used to see you around a lot and then, suddenly, no Maikeru."

"I on't knw what your talking about." he replied looking away and looking toward the clerk now.

Zema narrowed her eyes. "Are you avoiding me?" Her tone was a bit hurt. Had she done something wrong?

"no. Do you want something to eat or drink?" he asked curiously.

((I don't know if you yourself drink coffee so I didn't ask your character.))

[Ah okay ]

She shook her head, still feeling that Maikeru was hiding something. "No, thanks though." Suddenly she didn't want sweets anymore.

"Are you sure?" he asked nicely. "I mean they have great cake and coffee here.

((So do you drink coffee?))

"Well..." She was beginning to give into temptation. "Maybe some cake."

[[Nah, I don't care for it that much. :/ You?]]

"Come on you know you want to." he told her nudging her lightly with his elbow and grinning. "They have all sorts of cakes. Cherry, strawberry, lemon, lime, chocolate and ice cream cake." he said listing them with relative ease.

((I drink it from time to time. I think I just like pretending to be all grown up, it's funny. Like when little kids dress in there parents clothes to act like there mom or dad.))
