Unexpected Meeting

Sai sat at a table in the corner of the cafe sipping Jasmine tea. She had sometime before her show tonite at one of the local Nightclubs. He career was doing fine. Laying her chin in her hand she stared out the window beside her, watching all the cars pass on the busy street and all the bussling of bypassing people on the sidewalk. She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment.

Okami was passing by the shop when he noticed his sister in the window. With a slight smile her pressed his face up against the glass waiting for her to open her eyes.

"This'll be a good laugh" He thought to himself.

He knew his sister was sometimes easily frightened

Sai slowly opened her eyes to see her brother with his face up agaionst the glace. She jumped noticing him right away. Looking away she was somewhat annoyed now. "The hell was he thinking!" Shaking her head she smiled her brother this time as she turned. She pointed and motioned for him to enter the shop.

Kami was laughing slightly from his sister reaction. Then noticed that she wanted him to come in. Was a nod of his head he went around the corner and entered the cafe taking the seat across from his sister.

"Did I scare you dear Sister?" He said teasingly.

He knew at any moment she would probably blow up in his face but it had been worht it to see her jump in panic.

Looking at her brother she knew the reaction he was trying to get from her and she wasn't about to give him teh pleasure of getting what he wanted so easily. Her smile turned playful. "You could say that Okami-san" She had used her innocent little girl voice. She laughed abit to herself and then motioned for the waiter. "Would you like anything?"

Looking away for a moment he stayed silent. The after brushing off his sisters small backlash he nodded his head.

"Sure... I wouldn't mind something to drink right about now."

Thinking for a moment as the waiter approached.

"Can of coke and some sweet dumplings please."

He gave the waitress a small smile before she rushed off. Returning his gaze to his sister.

"Don't you have a show to do?"

She looked up at her brother nodding. "Later on tonite. You coming?" It had been a thing for her brother to show up at all her shows even though he alot of other shit to do. She was grateful that atleast he would come. Sipping her tea again the waitress came around with a tray. She set down a can of coke and a plate full of dumplings before disappearing again. "I hope you can make it, although I understand if you can't."

Looking at his sister he knew she was dependant on him showing up to her shows. It made her happy he could see it everytime she got up on the stage and saw him in the audience. He couldn't blame her either. Their family wasn't the tightest and he was really the only one looking out for her right now. He noticed her drop abit and with that he placed his fingers gently on her chin, pulling her head up so she would look at him. His eyes and smile grew gentler.

"Im gonna be there like I always am."

He didn't know what but there was something about his sister that caused feelings towards her that were more then just brotherly love. Looking at her a moment longer he took her in his arms hugging her from across the table.

Her eeys widened abit as she was taken into her brother. Just by the feel of it she knew there was something more to her brother but what? Pulling back she gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "Thank you Okami-nii san" trying to avoid crying infront of her brother she quickly stole a dumpling from her plate and poped into her mouth.

he watched laughing abit. He tried to lighten up the mood with some humor.

"Hey that my dumpling" He replied as if he was young once again

Watching his sister brought a small sense of happyness that he was lacking before. It showed in his face that it was enjoyable to be with her. They always enjoyed one another presence and he knew somewhat deep down inside of her that she also felt somewhat more for him. He had figured this out not to long ago at their last meeting.

She gigled again plopping another dumpling into her mouth as she gave him a playful smile. "Yeah but Im paying for them so I get to have atleast one' She replied. She crossed her legs and took another sip of her tea to wash down the dumplings.

"I guess..."

Okami looked at his watch noticing what time it was. Noticing it was getting late he looked up at his sister again.

"Its almost time. I think we should start heading down there."

He got up from the table took his wallet out, setting some money on the table.

She got up on her feet swiftly and bowed to her brother. "Thank you Okami-nii san. I'll pay you back somehow..." Picking up her purse she headed for the door. Sai motioned for her brother to follow, giving him a small playful wink as she did. She gigled to herself.

Okami laughed to himself quietly watching her with a slight smile.

"Im sure you will...."

He muddered under his breathe. He followed behind her walking out the door and down the street. Something made him look over at her ever now and then, he figured it was the feelings pushing him the ones he tried so hard to hide. Shaking his head he stuck his hands deep inside his pockets and looked at the ground.

Sai noticed something was up. Looking at Okami curiously her ears perked up. "Is something wrong Ni-san?" Her voice was gentle, she placed a hand on his shoulder. Whatever was bothering him she wanted to help.
