Kan was the heroic figurehead that united the tribes to form the One tribe, He led them to many glorious battles and won much power. Until finally the emporer and clan armies faced him and his horde, The battle lasted weeks, Until finally Kan found the emperor and attacked him slashing out with his sword and gravley wounding him, Then a shugenja(mage) of the phoenix clan stepped forward and in a desperate act cast a spell saving the dying emporer and sending Kan to the future through the void.
Kan arrives in a world not his own, wear he must use his peoples magic to disguise himself...

Not really that weird, Nezumi are in alot of japanese stories, their magic is anscestor driven, like voodoo, Its called name magic, so like when he uses the stick and says like "Yor-eep" that helps him with trees and stuff since "Yor-eep" was a wood rat...

after being brainwashed in a kiss with rose by Evil he now dosent know hes a nezumi, he is still a devout follower of megami and as far as he knows it he is Hida kuon last descendant of the crab clan and an orphanl... He remmembers nothing

After cutting johns head off and the darkness within john latching onto him he has changed one last time.
The symbiote gives him powers like venom ((spiderman)) accept the suit is his skin and he can morph it to become a few things, also the symbiote is suppressing his nezumi past completly meaning biologically he is human, it also attempts to keep him alive.
