PV has short black hair that is similar to ash or charcoal. His hair is always spiked back, except for a little bit that hangs down in the front. His eyes are an azure blue color with a thin black ring around the azure color. His skin is tan, but he looks a little bit Japanese. His outfit is made up of three layers. The chest, the legs, and the arms. He wears a pair of black chinese kung-fu monk shoes with black ankle socks. His construct of a pair of black sweat pants that are a bit saggy in the legs. Around the sweat pants are dark blue fabric ribbons that are loosely wrapped around the legs so that they hang a little. The ribbons are also wrapped around his waist but are covered up by a purple sash. He wears a black sleeveless shirt that goes down to his waist. The bottom of the shirt is covered up by his purple sash. He wears a black scarf around his neck that hangs off the back of his right shoulder. His arms are covered in two layers of fabric ribbon. The first layer is a dark blue that goes between his fingers and above his elbow. The second layer is a black colored ribbon that covers the dark blue ribbon. Under his shirt there are two large scars on his shoulder blades from where he was slashed in the back in a fight. On the back of his sash like belt there is a little pocket that holds PV’s MP3 player and headphones. PV’s headphones are much like the ones that Nero has but they are an ice blue color, with a mix of black and white. He has six tattoos on his body, one on each shoulder, two on the bottoms of his feet, one on his chest and one on his back. Each tattoo represents a different element. The one on his back represents the darkness of the night, the one on his right shoulder is for fire and his left is for water, the one on his left foot is wind and the one on the right is earth. The reason for his tattoos is so that he feels more attached to the planet that he lives on. His fingernails are black due to the fact that he thinks they look cooler that way.

Personality:

PV is a lonely out of the way type of guy whose sole purpose is to help others. PV is the type of person who knows the value of life. He is incapable of killing others and is always trying to break up fights then get in them. He tries not to talk to others for he fears that it may upset them. His favorite thing to eat is lemons because he likes the way it makes his tongue go sour. He loves to read more than anything. PV is mostly considered lazy because he is completely unathletic, he always walks and never runs. He never leave any tracks making it hard for him to be located. He’s learned to play four instruments (violin/drums/flute/guitar) but hardly ever plays. He can speak a total of five languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, French, and Japanesse) one for each place he’s been. He owns one guitar but only plays it when he thinks no one is around. He speaks English more than the others because it’s easier to understand and 99% of the world speaks it. He isn’t easily angered, but can become frustrated when things aren’t working out as planned, when this happens he has a habit of going off on that person in every one of the five languages but English. He has a terrible sense of humor that is mostly sarcastic and he’s a know-it-all. For example, PV is sitting in a corner of a room. A stranger walks up to him and makes a comment on how he looks like a sad and lonely person who isn’t fit to live an average life. PV would then make a comment on how the reason his girlfriend left him for being terrible in bed and that he shouldn’t give others a hard time when they’re worse off down the road. (end of example) He loves to collect books as much as he loves to read if not even more. He listens to some music but it’s mostly random because it’s always whatever is playing at that moment, but if he really had to choose a type of music he would most likely either classic rock, or classical music. He likes to spend his time outside in the morning right as the sun comes up and when the sun has just reached day’s end. He is a very light sleeper which causes him to stay awake throughout the night; he gets an average of two hours of sleep per night. He is a good chef, but only cooks for the people who he feels he can call family. He hardly ever cooks for anyone because there isn’t anyone he calls family because he’s reading books just about all the time. He isn’t big on alcohol, but will drink on special occasions. His favorite type of alcohol based drink is a strawberry daiquiri. Even though he isn’t a violent person, there are still things that can set him off. Anything could set him off, it is not part of his personality it is not part of his way of life, it is a simple thing that can happen to anyone. It only takes time until he or she snaps, and for PV its sure to be one heck of a show when it happens. He has a thing for girls around the age of 16. His favorite game is chess, as long as he wins that is. During the day you can sometimes find him going on long walks in the park or at a local restaurant ordering strawberry cheesecake. His favorite type of flowers are pink and white roses. The only other thing he likes to collect besides books are ancient artifacts. He likes to listen to music while he reads. He has a habit of climbing up buildings and trees because he likes high places, makes him feel closer to heaven if it exists. He will only hang out with witty sarcastic people, because he thinks that they are more fun to be around. He hates going to church for unknown reasons. He doesn’t like to watch others die, and he hates failure more than anything. He hates being the underdog when it comes to certain things.

Background:

Pyriel was born in the late 1868 in England. When he reached the age of 15 he heard of a man who can shorten and extend a persons life spand by writing there name down into a special note-book, but at the price of losing someone he loved. Pyriel only loved one back in those days, her name was Kurumi, her only wish was for Pyriel to live. So Pyriel made the deal with the man who owned the note book. Because Pyriel had his name write 145 years inadvance he was unable to die a peaceful death. He is now 135 he and has 10 years left before the final effect of the death-note takes effect. Because of the words chosen in the death-note he was unable to age from the moment his name was written. Through out the years he has sense the world grow and become full of people who would be better off dead. He now searches for the death-note so that he may be able to prolong his life once more, but as is stated in the death-note once a name has been written in a death-note that person will note die before the moment that that time comes, and as all who have used it's power, they know that once the time is set there is no going back.

Left Eye of the Shinigami:

When Pyriel had the death-note prolong his life he asked for a sertent detail be put in it, he asked that at the age of 56 his left eye would be damage and fourced to be replaced with the left eye of a Shinigami. His left eye allows him to see the name and life spand of all he sees. He is still unable to see the Shinigami even after his long life. He can call upon his left eye at will. When he isn't using the Shinigami eye his left eye goes blind and is the color gray.
Relation to Death Note:

When Pyriel was young he made a deal with a man who owned a death-note to prolong his life by letting his death date 145 years into the future. He now wants the death-note to keep himself alive for years to come, or that's what he wishs, knowing that the death-note only works on a person once.
