"You know I don't think that though. You know, I might even look at you and see a victim - but I'm not going to tell you if that's the case. As well as that, you just stepped down you know. You just confirmed your own fears for me. Interesting."

Putting the cigarette to his lips again, he muttered "One day I might even exploit that fear, just to show you what suffering is like. Who knows."

"I've been around for a long time i'm not sure if I care any more. Go ahead exploit my fears I wont be the one to suffer." She said in a clam voice.

"Then you prove my other point. You're evil so you're not sedated. It's something to care about." Inhaling deeply, he muttered "And you'd cast me as pathetic for being a whore - you're no better than me and you know it."

"I am better then you in some ways but in others we are the same. Thats probably why your not dead."

"Better than me in some ways? What, you think you have your pride still? I think that's not the case, but if it is I'm sure I could take that away from you if you liked."

The threat in his voice was clear, but he then lightened his tone "And you know I don't care - kill me if you're going to kill me."

"That would be all to easy. I have my pride but i have other things that make it easier to live."

"Doesn't make you any better than me. In fact in some ways it makes you worse; you can live easier, and yet you're just as weak."

Toying with the cigarette, he said "I could turn the tables and make it very hard for you to live indeed."

"And how would you do that?"

"For starters I could kiss you again."

Eyes on hers, he continued "Or not. There are people who might be interested in coming after you, now."

She took a few steps away from him glaring. "If your talking about Connor let him come I have a bone to pick with that fucker."

"I'm not talking about Connor. But look - you just tried to put space between you and I."

Taking one step closer, he said "You're feeling threatened, aren't you."

"No." She replied keeping her ground and resiting the urge to step back.

"Tell me something; does your husband enjoy making you a victim?" Dominic didn't step forward; he could read her body language well enough not to need to.

"My husband doesn't make me a victim... why would you say that?" She asked confused.
