The sun came though the trees but most of the forest floor was in darkness due to the shade of the trees. Krystal sat at the bass of the tree in meditation. Although she looked at peace her mind was not. She had to think of a plan for Connor something anything. a way to kill him and finally be free but nothing she knew of could kill him thats why she never tried but now she had no other option. Kill or be killed.

Dominic was not far away; he had been hiding out in these woods since she'd turned him. Watching her, something occurred to him, and he called out to her.

"Krystal."

Krystal opened her eyes and looked at Dominic with question. "Yeah?" she asked.

"Why does your blood hold no appeal for me?"

Appearing closer to her, he tilted his head sideways and watched with blood red eyes.

"Everything else living; vampires, demons, animals, humans. But not you. Why is that?"

"Maybe Because i was your creature." She replied simply with a shrug.

Dominic shook his head. "That would make little sense; other things that have bitten me, I still have that same burning for."

"Well what do you think it is?" She asked pulling out a pack of smokes and lighting one up before holding out the pack to him offering one.

"I don't know." He took a cigarette, and simply looked at it for a moment.

"Aren't you supposed to attack me?"

She took a drag then blew it out, "Why would I do that?" she asked as she put the pack back into her pocket.

"When you turned me, it seemed you wanted me to suffer, so it would make sense."

"Well are you suffering?" She asked looking at him with a smirk.

"Not at the moment." Still looking at the cigarette, he continued "The bloodlust hurts somewhat, but you misinterpreted my character. I don't care what I kill."

"I know, but the blood lust is bad." she said and held out a lighter. "Need a light?"

Letting her light it, he took a drag. After a moment, he said "You know I'll try to kill you eventually."

She shrugged putting her lighter away. "You wouldn't be the only person."
