"May be you should just breathe and clearly explain the situation." he told her remaining still and making sure not to make sudden moves and if he could wouldn't even tilt.

"Explain?" she asked bitterly. "What would that do?"

"Make you seem less irrational." he exclaimed.

"Irrational? Of all the things..." Rhythm said. "If I wanted to seem, or was even able to seem less irrational, do you think I would be here like this?"

"Look as much as I would love to discuss your rationalities it would save time if you would tell me what your running from." he replied politely.

Rhythm sighed. "Family," she admitted eventually.

"Well I don't hear any footsteps, or anything else for that matter." he replied looking around to what seemed to be an empty forest.

"I should hope not," she said. "They'll be miles away now."

"Then why keep running?" he asked quiet openly without the usual persona and paranoia in his voice. If anything maikeru felt that nobody was thinking or taking notice of him at the moment.

"I don't know," Rhythm admitted honestly. "Maybe it isn't just them I'm running from."

"What else is there to run from?" he replied once again with a suspicious look at rhythm.

"Everything," Rhythm muttered. She sat down. For the first time since starting this conversation, her breathing was steady.

Maikeru followed rhtyhm's example but instead of sitting plomped down with seemed to be a bit of a child's fit. "Be more practical." he told her rather bluntly withouth having to think or ponder.
