"It probably is," she said. "But it works."

((Our school system is based on a test as I said before which the school district decidedes wil be our way of going on to the next part of our lives. But at times it ruins some educational opportunities. If you don't pass then college, the military, any option except work is marked out.))

"For how long?" he asked hoping that it would make rhythm think.

(That makes very little difference here. But then again, I take little interest. I aspire to write, and in the meantime anything that earns enough money to survive will suffice as a job)

Maikeru twitched rather annoyed a bit at the response that caught him off guard just a bit. "Your rather smug you know that.?" he asked looking directly at her.

(I can't work. I'm not allowed. Parents again. Random note: I'm getting unused to writing Rhythm's character, because I'm working on a different story currently. It feels so weird to still be writing her)

"I suppose I am," she said thoughtfully. "But only sometimes. I haven't normally got time to be."

"I hope that I am not taking up your time." he said with a concerned face.

(Not at all. It's fun to do things I am unused to. I need a break in the schedule every so often)

"You are," Rhythm said, laughing. "But I'm glad you are. I like talking to you."

"I enjoy talking to you as well but still I am sorry to take up your time." he said tilting and hearing rustling sounds of different animals come and you.

(You should try talking to the people I know. Then you wouldn't be.)

"It's not like I would be doing anything but running right now though," Rhythm said. "Or leaving."

((Being random towards strangers is a good way to get yourself killed, at least I believe so.))

"Well it's now." maikeru checked his watch. "12:00 o'clok." he replied to her comment about time. "Anywhere you have to be?"

(I could definitely see that happening with the people I know. I'm really surprised that they haven't got in any kind of trouble for it yet. For instance, one of them decided it was a good idea to hug my science teacher the first time they ever met him)

"You can probably tell from before. I wasn't running to anywhere in particular. Just away."

(We would have to agree to disagree there. Hugs and many displays of affection just make me feel uncomfortable. But that is because I am unused to them most likely)

Rhythm looked. "It looks like I was out to get rather wet then..."
