"I see. Leaving already?"

"Well, yeah. It's dangerous at night, and I think a storm is coming..." He said, looking up at the sky. There were dark clouds in the distance.

"And I don't think you need to... um... fly me anywhere. I think I'll be okay," He smiled shyly.

"If you want you can stay at my place for tonight. There's no way in hell you're getting to the next town over by nightfall without a vehicle."

"Your... place...?" He said to himself, pondering over the idea. He looked at the sky again, and at the clouds that were in the distance. The storm would be coming soon.

"O-Okay. Thank you for your hospitality" He smiled before bowing his head slightly.

"Don't worry about it. I'm not evil enough to leave you out in the rain tonight."

She started walking in the general direction of her bike.

"So, do anything other than wander?"

"I don't wander, I travel. There's a difference," He pouted, but decided not to say anything more about that.

"I play the flute," He smiled.

"Really? I never got the hang of the flute. I play the harp. And the piano; blame my mother. She tried to teach me every instrument under the sun. And there isn't much of a difference between wandering and travelling."

She grinned.

"But I'm sorry to have offended your... delicate self." she said in mock-servitude.

J huffed and folded his arms across his chest. "I am not delicate. I'm probably stronger than you!" He said as he let a grin spread across his face.

"Try me," she said with a grin.

J grinned and suddenly ran forward. He brought his fist up and threw it forward.

She grabbed it and shoved him back, jumping so she had him pinned to the ground.

"Not impressed," she said, smiling.

J narrowed his eyes as he wiggled from beneath her. He made a face at her. Childish, but he felt it needed to be done.

"That was just luck on your part," He tried to keep his dignity (but what dignity did he have left? He was pinned under a girl for crying out loud).

"Right," she said, grinning, "tut tut tut. Bested by a girl? Although, when you take into consideration that this particular girl flies and takes bullets to the head with just a flinch, it doesn't seem particularly fair now does it?"

J looked up at her. "No I guess not..." After a short moment, he began realizing how uncomfortable he was.

"Um, can you get off me now?"

She laughed again and stood up, offering him her hand.

"Don't worry. I've beaten a lot tougher than you."
