Brigid was laying in the tall grass, breathing deeply. She hadn't been feeling well. Lately her stomach always hurt and she always had a headache. Even worse was the hollow feeling inside. She couldn't cry...the tears wouldn't come...She had to be strong for her Court. She had to get better. But she didn't know how.

Wesker stood nearby, the wind blowing on his long leather coat and his hair slightly coming apart in the wind. " We should go.."

Brigid looked up at him, her eyes a dull blue. The mischief and life was gone out of them. "Where?" she asked monotonously.

"I don't need a body guard," Brigid said in a flat voice.

" I know that... I don't like being here. " Wesker was blank, emotionless, not even his superior attitude was present. Just standing there like a robot.

"So leave. I'll be back at the base before sunrise." It was only a little after noon at the moment, but Brigid needed to be outside. Buildings made her feel trapped.

" Fine then...." Wesker stopped in place, he may of hated this place but he wanted to be near Brigid... such strange feelings.

Brigid rolled over to face away from her, watching a lady bug crawl over a leaf. She didn't know why he was staying...probably for a chance to have sex with her or kill her...

" B-Brigid...." Wesker turned and gripped his head in pain... a concerned look upon his face.

"What is it?" she asked, watching as the lady bug ran out of leaf. It turned around and went back the way it came. Poor thing...getting so far and then having to give up...

" I can't deal with this anymore..." He slumped forward onto his knees, like a man begging for life he looked forward.

She rolled over to look at him. "Deal with what?" she asked, wondering if he was going to kill her now. Strange how her thoughts always went to that...If she wasn't careful, people might think she was suicidal.

Brigid nodded calmly. "I know you hate me. I've been wondering when you'd confront me about it. Are you going to kill me now?" Her voice was curious. It betrayed no emotion. Inside, Brigid felt terribly sad and lonely...But she was resigned to her fate. She'd lived to be one of the oldest faeries and she was proud of that. But everyone died eventually...
