Kaito was walking through the lands with his regular giant grin. Grins were his fave facial expression. Most would think he was insane by looking at the expression but well, he was insane. The boy was looking at the ground still grinning, fangs perfectly shown. There had been muttering going on today. Muttering from him and some other people. Normally he muttered on what would be the best kind of sunday to eat, but this time it was on a shinigami sighting. Sightings never happened, even though Kai could see shinigamis all the time. This time a normal human saw them. And that truly puzzled Kaito.

''Mommy couldn't see them...so why did that guy go crazy over it when he saw it? Then he died....'' Kai stopped walking through the grass and sat down. ''I guess I shouldn't worry about these sort of things. But it was so wierd. Oh well. Happy dandy people need to see them once in a while anyways. Those guys don't know the phantom is right behind them heh heh.'' He started rolling around in the grass before standing up. There were no grass stains on him.

Kai began running around the grasslands, enjoying the good weather today. It seemed as if he had forgotten everything about the shinigami sightings.
