The grasslands were quiet and peaceful. At least, they were until a loud explosion sounded overhead. A girl floated down from the explosion and landed in the grass. She was fast asleep. Her hair was longer than she was tall and her skin was as white and smooth as porcelain. Her raven black hair sparkled in an inhuman way.

Upon hearing the explosion while out on a night walk, Michael was stricken with fear and intrigue. Curiosity overpowered his will to live as he ran in the sound's general direction, until he saw a young woman lying in the grass.

Dea stretched out in her sleep and sighed. She was completely unaware of her unexpected entrance into the mortal realm.

As he realized she was stirring out of her sleep, he stepped back.

"Hi. Um... are you alright? I heard an explosion... and... um... you don't look hurt..." He stumbled over his words. He was never going to get used to meeting new people.

He offered out his hand to help her up.

Dea opened her eyes and blinked up at him. "You must be a new god...I haven't seen you before," she said sleepily. She took his hand and stood up, revealing that she was a few inches shorter than him.

"Um... I am not a god." He let out a chuckle. "If I were a god... I'd be a really poor one. So... what gave you the idea?" His expression turned into a serious curiosity.

Dea looked around, the sleepiness vanishing. "This isn't Heaven...How did I get here?" Turning her attention back to him, she smiled. "I'm sorry. I thought I was still in Heaven and you look more like a god than an angel."

He felt himself blushing. "That's very sweet of you. Honestly, I can believe you to be at the very least an angel." He smiled kindly. "So... what do you mean this isn't heaven, though?" His tone was of embarrassed yet happy confusion.

"This is Earth, not Heaven. And my name is Dea. I'm a goddess." She bowed in greeting.

hito watched the two talk as he started to finish his book. he was invisible for the moment and he was glad he was. he didnt want to butt in on their love momentum and he certainly didnt want to see it either. this was the only place where he could use his powers without holding his breath and there just had to be a loud guy and a creepy lady right in front of him.

His eyes widened. He was in the presence of a god! She had complimented him, too!

"It's an honor to be in your presence, Dea. I am Michael. Um... I'm of the mortal world... obviously..." He went to bow before her.

Dea giggled softly. She glanced toward Hito, able to see him. She didn't say anything to him' if he wanted her to notice him, he'd become visible. Turning her attention back to Michael, her lips twitched in a barely hidden smile. "I'm just a young goddess. No need to be so formal."

"Ah, I can't help it." Michael blushed again. "Also, add beautiful to that list." He smiled cheerfully. "So... what are you planning on doing since you're here and... um... not in heaven..." He heard the slight shake in his own voice... would she hear it too?

hito became rigid when the creepy lady stared through him. he still couldnt stand it when people did that. it wasnt normal, and this chick was more weird that any lady he met. he opend his mind to know what she was thinking. if she bloced it then it would go to the idiot drooling over her. and he didnt want that chalk board of noise. if there was any at all.

Dea felt a small nudging at her mind. She pushed it away, sealing her mind off easily. She was good at hiding her thoughts. "Since I wasn't aware that I had left, I suppose I'll just hang around for a while and get to know everyone. I'll consider it to be training."
