Zema, being as curious as she was had to investigate- so she did. Looking both ways she hurried across the street and where Maikeru escaped to. Besides, he didnt know her in this form and why not get in some trouble? She stared at the door , a moment debating. If anything she could just shift into a fly and fly off right? She opened it seeing the stairs. Zema held her breathe. "here we go.."

Down beneath the current construction site were tunnels filled with a few pipes but wide open space to walk. Maikeru took a right and headed straight towards a light which led to a wide space similar to that of a warehouse or mechanics garage. In the space were cars, trucks, motorcycles, a lab table, one bed and various computers monitors revealing the city with three chairs lined up. Equipment layed scattered, with state of the art tools and everything humanly possibly needed. Abouve the computer was a loft that seemed to have a kitchen, gym, and bathroom.

Everything surrounding him was how maikeru kept in contact with what was going on in the city.

Zema made her way down the stairs and into the tunnels. And like that she was already lost. She looked down and put her goggles on, and within minutes the goggles had the tunnels marked out to where they end and what part of the city they are under. She gasped- this was amazing, and probably no one knew about this. She saw a light to the right and of course, like anyone else would do, she went towards it. She approached with caution. She didn't want to know what Maikeru would do to her if she got caught.

Looking around maikeru turned the monitor on the computer to reveal these tunnels streched the whole city and some parts were still being developed. Everywhere maikeru had eyes and ears including information from all over japan being transferred. This information even included the crime under world, goverment projects, universities applicants and ID informantion among other things. The only places that didn't have camera's was where zema resided and his other friends.

Zema peeked into the large room, overwhelmed by what was in it. She saw Maikeru in front of a monitors that showed parts of the city. This was a bit scary , Zema thought, at how much he probably knew already. Was this a hobby? Or another job? Was his name even Maikeru? So many more questions and she wouldn't even be able to ask without giving it all away, like the fact that she snuck in. Could he know her real name perhaps?

Maikeru analyzed the monitors for the bit typing in a few numbers that made a call to the head construction worker. A man answered and maikeru spoke to him telling him that he couldn't make it back to the site after lunch, unsuspecting the man believed him and hung up. Looking at the vehicles he'd acquired he looked around with a lonely expression. "Man I wish zema could see this." he said to himself heading for a table that had two cylinders on it.

Hearing his words made her smile. If only he'd known she was right here watching! But, sadly he should never know. She turned to walk away. Spying on Maikeru as someone else was fun sure, but she wouldn't be able to talk about how much of a cool place this was, or playfully call him a stalker. She stood there a moment listening to Maikeru's movement, deciding to stay and watch some more.

The cylinders on the table maikeru was in a way toying with the wiring he grabbed a sauntering iron and started working more with the circuitry getting his googles to protect his eyes. Apparently he'd been working on something that he hadn't told anyone about not even zema.

Zema watched curiously. If only she could be right there, watching from the first row. And suddenly she hated being a spy. This tunnels made her even more curious. She went back down the tunnel and began to travel through the others. Peeking out where they led as well.

Maikeru stopped using the sauntering gun as he heard foot steps and the little beats of sweat trickled down his nose from the work though the tunnels were cool. Keeping his googles on he headed for the tunnel he'd entered from and went to see what the commotion was.

While watching down the tunnels a map came up on her goggles telling her where she was. Moving her eyes, she planned out a route somewhere near her home. She smiled. "Wow this is amazing."

Maikeru saw the a figure in the distance standing in the tunnels that he'd spent his year in japan making and hiding there were many things to be done still. Spooked by the voice slightly he called out trying to sound brave "Who are you!?" his voice quivered and cracked.

She froze, hearing his voice then turned around enough to see that it was him. She stopped a moment, turning her goggles off so they didnt give a soft glow like they usually did. Then she began to run down the tunnel. If she could out run him, get out of his sight..

"Don't run." he said with a commandful voice raising a shot gun to the shadow figure with his googles still on. Before leaving his warehouse like sanctuary he'd grabbed it and a pair of gloves for blow torching. "You can't out run a bullet."

She stopped. No, she couldn't out run it. And that was the truth. But she could out shape it? But she had used her shapeshifting abilities twice, it would exhaust her. She turned around. Zema wondered what being shot felt like- and she had a bad feeling she was going to find out.
