"It means 'sin' in Hebrew," she said as she stood up. Aveira was about five and a half feet tall, but her boots made her seem taller.

Zema could see that they were pretty much eye to eye. "So, why were you here at the hospital. Sorry for ruining your evening with my fireworks." Her grin grew, she was so proud of killing all in the building. She could hear the firetrucks in the distance coming this way.

"When I'm near the dying, I gain my sight back for a little bit. I'm blind, you see." Aveira smiled sarcastically as she thought about her past.

"Oh," Zema said, a bit sad she had brought that back up. She was sure it bothered Aveira. "Well then allow me to kill more for your sake? In order to apologize for bringing such a subject back up."

Aveira paused and tilted her head ever so slightly. "So eager to kill...What if I had a way for you to kill from the privacy of your own home..?" she asked. Her voice had grown deadly soft. An edge of excitement lined it.

"To kill from the privacy of my own home?" She repeated watching Aveira. "How is that possible?" She thought it over in her head a few times thinking of what harm this could cause. "But if I stayed home all the time, however would I be able to trick people with my shape shifting?"

"Sometimes you need to kill people who are in the way. Some things are personal, some things are for fun. But there are approximately 6.5 billion humans in the world. You can't be everywhere at once. And there are not many people like us. Some people must die and it's just a fact that we can't get to all of them." She shrugged. "I enjoy my work, but since my little slip up, I've been severely behind in my quota. I could use a apprentice..."

"Aveira, I have just met you and your words already excite me. If there is a way to do such things I would love to do them. If an apprentice is what you need..." She trailed off , mind going blank. She scratched the back of her neck, rewording things in her head. "Well, if you need one and I fit the part I'd love to be your apprentice. I'm sure it would be nothing but entertaining." She turned her head, hearing the sirens getting closer.

Aveira grinned in pure excitement. "Then, would you like to stay and watch the rescue mission, or come to my...I guess base works, but it sounds so cliche...Hmm..." She trailed off again, trying to find a word for her hideout.

"Ah, well, I had scripted to explain why I was here and what had happened, but I guess that doesn't really matter." She watched Aveira with a raised eyebrow. "Base, hideout, evil laboratory. All sounds cool."

Aveira giggled. "It's actually a library, but the books there are much more interesting than a human library. I'll show you. Are you afraid of heights?" she asked.

Zema thought about the question. Heights? "No , not that I know of." Then again she wasn't much of a reader, only reading when she had nothing else to do or was truly interested.

Aveira nodded and unfurled her large black wings. She grabbed Zema around the waist and took off, her powerful wings carrying them higher and higher.

Zema, surprised at first, spread her arms out. "WOO" She said in response to the flying. Amazing, the feeling of flight.

Aveira smiled. Though her bones were hollow, she was very strong. Zema wasn't heavy at all.
