[Kind of long sorry xD]

Zema fast stepped through the closing glass doors to the emergency branch of the hospital. Of course they then opened having sensed her, but she was already at the desk. "Please! You must help me!" She said drastically, leaning over the desk eyes wide. Her eyes flicked to each part of the woman's face. The woman heard the concern in her voice. "What's the matter?" She asked, having a bit of a high pitch voice. This made Zema a bit sick, oh how humans could be annoying. How could this woman not know what was wrong!! Zema shoved her hand into the woman's face. On her finger a trail of blood from a paper cut. Small tears, those an actor might use in a scene, built up in Zema's eyes.

The woman's eyebrows lowered. "This is your emergency?" Zema nodded. The woman began to get angry. "This is for real emergencies." She opened her desk drawer and grabbed out a band aid handing it to Zema. Zema's mouth was open. Was this not an emergency? Red liquid was coming out of her finger! "Please come back when there is a real emergency."

Zema snatched the band aid from the woman and narrowed her eyes. How rude of her. She spun on her heel and walked out of the glass doors. She walked across the street and turned back to the hospital, its lights bright in the night sky. She looked down into her hand at the band aid. She tilted her head slightly and squinted her eyes to read it. "Dora the explorer?" She read aloud. She wrinkled her nose in disgust and reached for something in her jacket pocket. It was a small activator. She quickly pushed down on the button with her thumb, thunder shaking the ground for a moment. Zema's eyes widen and she grinned ear to ear as the Hospital blew up in flames, screams filling the air. This should get Kira's attention. She had planned this for months, shifting into nurses that worked in the hospital to set the bombs in place.

She slowly shapeshifted into a young boy and took out her cell phone. Changing her voice slightly she called the police. "You have to help! The hospital is on fire." Then she closed the phone and watched, placing her goggles back over her eyes.

[Whoa that was long <<; but yeahhh]

Aveira had been sitting on the roof of the hospital when it had exploded. She cried out in surprise and jumped off, her raven-like wings lifting her away from the scene. Her dark purple eyes landed on a girl. Suddenly, the girl was a young boy. Aveira swooped down quickly to land in front of him/her. She growled angrily.

Zema lifted an eyebrow, someone suddenly in front of her, well now him being in the form of a boy. "Eh?" He said, pushing the goggles onto his forehead. He wrinkled his nose in response to her growling. "What's up with you?"

Aveira hissed at the boy. "Naughty, naughty...Starting fires is MY job..." she said in a low, sing-song voice. She blinked and her dark eyes lightened. They slowly filmed over until they were a pale lavender.

Zema blinked, watching her eyes. "I didnt start it." He pointed out, lifting his hand in defense. "The bombs did that. Take it up with them." He grinned.

"I would, but they're dead now," she said as she reached up to secure her strange cloth and metal purple blindfold. Her mind's eye started working. She now saw the outline of the boy, but with a green shadow in the shape of a girl laid over his image.

Zema shapeshifted into her normal self, everything but height changed for she was short. She grew a tad bit annoyed because the stranger was standing in her vision of the burning building. "Can I help you with anything else?" She said, in a smooth relaxed tone.

"You're bleeding," Aveira said. She dropped to her knees and grabbed Zema's hand. "Not so much blood. The hospital ignored your pleas? Of course they did, they're a bunch of humans! Humans aren't all bad, though. L's the only good human we've met. No, there were others. Who? We forget..." She trailed off. Obviously she was done arguing with herself.

Zema watched, a bit confused as the stranger took her hand. "They did ignore me, and taunted me with childish band aids." She listened as she spoke of L, and only one human could come to mind that she had met and actually let live. "M?" She whispered so faintly she herself could not tell if she had actually said it aloud or in her head. He had been friendly to her unlike the nurse inside the burning building. They were foolish humans. "They deserved to die." She said grinning to the flames.

Aveira nodded. "Even M. He's chasing after one of my homunculus now. With a weapon. He got mad at me because I punished a certain someone he was fond of." She giggled and her voice sounded almost child like.

Aveira let her tongue snake out to lick the blood. She smiled as her mental image of Zema grew sharper. She could see her in normal colors now and not the surreal ones that clouded everything else.

"A homunculus?" She repeated understanding. She had heard of such creatures but never encountered one herself. M had lost someone he was fond of, she had said. Zema chuckled slightly, envying real feelings. She played as so many people she could not understand what was real and wasn't about herself. Zema watched blankly as Aveira licked her blood. "Does it suit your tastes?" Her head tilted, and she asked like a curious child.

Aveira nodded. "Not as sweet as a human's, but it has so many different flavors at once. Even your blood changes." Aveira pulled back and the paper cut healed instantly. "Homunculi aren't hard to make, but they take a long time and quite a bit of energy. M is lucky that I'm wasting one on him."

"Ah really?" She gently took her hand back to look at the healed paper cut. "I never knew that my blood changed as well. I learned something today." She put her hand to her side, thinking of M and the Homunculi. He would be fine, she supposed. "So, you yourself are not human. Its nice to meet you." Zema grinned.

"It is nice to meet you as well, Zema," Aveira said. She smiled, showing her fangs. "My name is Aveira."

Something in Zema's head ticked. She had not told her name- so this Aveira... Could this person be Kira? Even though Zema was only her middle name it confused her slightly. Zema went down on one knee slightly in a bow then stood back up. "Aveira- I like that name." She said it once more, liking the why her teeth gazed across her bottom lip when she said it.
