Wesker sat calmly in his hotel room, a very nice one at that. A fine bottle of wine being poured into a fancy glass, he enjoyed the good life. He smirked and took a drink, raising his gun and shooting a man in the head. The scientist he kidnapped had no valuable information.

" Such a nice evening..."

Suddenly, Wesker's wine froze solid. An ice faerie knocked on the window. She looked a little like Brigid, except her wings and eyes were black and her wings were rounded like a butterfly's. She was shorter and had a more menacing look about her.

" Another annoying creature. "

Wesker walked over to the window and slid it open to let her in.

The faerie flitted in and looked him up and down with appraising eyes. Finally she nodded. "Queen Beira was right. You are very good looking." Her voice was whispery and dark.

" What do you want from me you pest..."

Wesker holstered his gun and continued to drink, walking over to the small mini-bar.

The faery tossed a small box to him. "Gift from Her Majesty. She told me it's very important that you're the only one who sees it." She stepped closer, eyes on the box. She wanted to see what was inside.

Wesker gripped the top of the box and pulled off the lid. Staring inside to the contents.

" What is this.."

Inside the box was a light blue gemstone, about the size of a baby's fist. White clouds of fog mixed with frost circled it. The stone itself had shifting patterns of blue, white, green, and purple swirling around the inside. It was very beautiful and obviously valuable. Attached to the lid was a note.

War was declared last night. The Summer Fey will stop at nothing to get you. If you refuse them, they'll try to kill you. Even you can't stand up to an army of faeries. The stone is a gift of goodwill. You'll find it useful in your work. Be careful, it's temperamental.

Wesker pulled out a large elongated gun, he smirked and aimed at the faiere.

" The Hand cannon, my favorite of all..."

Wesker let off a powerful shot, his arm breaking as the bullet went off into the creature's skull, it practically exploding on contact as he snapped his arm back into place.

The faery didn't even have time to shriek before she died, her mangled body falling to the ground with a thud.

" Disgusting bitch..."

Wesker smirked and holstered his gun back around his waist, he ran toward the window and grabbed the bottle right before he jumped, landing right on top of a cleaning lady.

Brigid was waiting for him in an alley between the hotel and another building. She was wearing her normal glamour, but with a fuzzy edge. It was a simple spell that made her harder to notice.

Wesker spun around and looked to her, giving a look of grimace and turning back.

Brigid unfroze his bottle of wine for him and beckoned him over. She was sitting on a chair she'd summoned out of ice.

" You really are becoming quite the annoyance woman..."

He slowly walked over to the woman and knocked over a trash can, taking a seat.
