The hotel lobby was empty excepted for Thorn who sat behind the desk reading a book. It was going on 4 in the morning and most of the people checking in now where looking ether for a place to fuck or do drugs. She turned the page reading the book slowly bored out of her mind.

Maikeru who had never meet thorn and hadn't seen rose it was seemed like an eternity walked into the lobby. He wore a flannel shirt and some oversized jeans that covered his muddy shoes which he wiped clean on the carpet. He walked to the desk and tap the bell gently so he wouldn't seemed so impatient or rude.

Thorn looked up from her book, "Hey there, Can i help you?" She asked knowing that this was the original M not the sin clones.

"Yes ma'am may I have one room please?" he asked politely taking out cash. "I need the floor for myself." he said paying for every single room.

Thorn raised a eyebrow, "Alright." she said confused but wrote it up on the computer and gave him the room keys taking the money. "If you need anything all you have to do it call the main office its 1 on speed dial in your room. Have a nice night sir."

"Well I'm expecting a few packages to be delievered here. Are you bringing them up ma'am?" he asked nicely taking the keys and counting them.

She nodded, "Yeah i'm the only one here till 7am." She replied.

"Well if you could help take my bags up I can stay down here and wait for my packages. Would you mind?" he asked curiously. "I would really appreciate the help."

She looked at him with a look of question. "No its best if i stay here... I can call for you when the packages get here."

"Oh I understand, I wouldn't want you to lose your job it's hard to find one now and days." he replied with genuine sincerity. There were about five cases, four of which he grabbed by the handles with extreme difficulty his stuff flew out to reveal nothing more then clothes.

She nodded in agreement when his stuff feel out she felt bad. "Let me help you to the elevator." She said as she came out from behind the desk.

"Hey it's okay." he replied, "I don't want you to have to leave the desk." he said picking his things up and folding them in place. He tidied up rather fast and orderly making sure everything was even like an addiction. "See everything is fine now." he said patting the suit cases.

She nodded, "You sure? the elevator is right there i could help."

"No it's okay I'm sure I will see you again soon." he said taking the brief cases once again in hand and pressing the elevator button.

She nodded and gave a small wave as she went back behind the desk picking up her book.
