Zema, oblivious to everything else around her, strolled down the mall ever so happily. In her hand a small violet Ipod nano, that blasted her playlist into her ears. Hearing her favorite tunes put a bounce into her step, and she moved her arms up and down, side to side in her awkward way of dancing. Zema was out of her normal form of course, taking the form of a young woman with long black hair and brown eyes. While listening to the music she made up a name for this form inside her head, her brown hues glancing through the shop windows curiously. To her side was a grey colored messenger bag, which held inside her most important items, including her trade mark goggles. Now that halloween was over, meaning her favorite costume shop was closed, she really had no reason to be in this place. Her feet stopped, and her eyes widening. She would inhale loudly. Pretzels. Mall Pretzels. Instantly she fell inlove. This is why Zema came, she remembered. xD

Aveira was sitting in the mall when she heard the happy steps that could only belong to one person. She sighed and shook her head.

After purchasing her pretzel, Zema turned back to the crowd, scanning it to see if she knew anybody. Her eyes stopped at someone shaking their head. This person had a familiar vibe about her, and Zema approached absentmindedly. "Excuse me," She began, tilting her head slightly. "But have we met before...?" It really was an idiotic question to ask, because as she might recognize someone, they might not recognize her in the form or shape she was at the moment.

"You know we have. I can't see you, but I can sense you, Zema," Aveira told her.

Hearing her name from the others lips made her heart freeze, and she almost released her pretzel from her grip. Shaking her head and coming back to reality, her eyes widened. "Its you..." She said in a surprised tone, remembering.

"Of course it is," Aveira said simply. "It's always me."

Zema grinned. "I still have that book you gave me, Causing Chaos like always." She said rather proudly, taking a bite out of her pretzel. Then she began to speak again, moving her hand with the pretzel as she did. "So what have you been up to since eh? Still hang out in your library?"

Aveira shook her head. "Not since I lost what remained of my soul. Now I've been trying to create a new one before I die a painful and agonizing death." She picked up her strawberry smoothie and took a sip casually.

Zema paused at what the other was saying. One of her brows rose, and she took another bite of her pretzel. "That... sounds.. nice? Um. I dont really know what to say to that, but of course if there is anything I could possibly do to help you, do know that I would." She grinned again. "I do owe you after all."

Aveira smiled. "You may be able to help me, actually..." She paused, thinking things through. "My sources tell me you have a son now. He's a shifter, like yourself?"

Zema's face softened. "Ah, yes, I do have a son. Your sources are good. How might he help you?" Her voice was curious, and again Aveira had caught her interest- she was good at doing that.

"I'm studying the nature of the human soul," she said. "Shifters can change bodies, but their soul stays with them. I could use you just as well, but your son is younger. His soul will be much easier to detect." She blinked and added as an afterthought, "And don't worry. None of my tests will hurt him."
