"I never had chance to do it before I came here. I lived in a School with very few other students. I never went outside the gates until recently, when I left for good. Since then, work has been scarce, and I've been bored."

"Sounds rough," Dawn said, "Well theres no need for use to be bored alone how about we find something interesting to do?"

"Sure," Rhythm said, smiling. "Have you got anything in mind?"

Dawn looked around then shook her head, "Nothing really, what do you like to do?"

Rhythm touched the ends of her hair lightly. "I haven't a clue. I've never really had free time, or if I had, it would have been taken up by the strange people I used to know," she said, blushing. She felt quite embarrassed, as per usual in social situations (growing up shut off from the world had made her unused to contact with others).

"We could people watch together or find something of interest."

"Either of those is fine with me."

"Well we could to both, we'll people watch as we look for something more interesting." She said with a small laugh.

Rhythm smiled. "Sounds fun. Which way first?" she said, looking around.

Dawn randomly pointed, "That way."

Rhythm laughed. "As long as I don't walk into a wall, that way's fine," she said laughing.

"I'll keep an eye open for walls." Dawn replied laughing also.

Rhythm looked around as she walked. There were a lot of shops, and it seemed very crowded. It was a kind of culture shock after the quiet of the School, and later, the calm of her many workplaces. "I've never actually been shopping before," she remarked out of the blue.

"Really?" Dawn asked surprised. "you should try it, its a nice little pick-me-up if everything is just shit."

"Everything usually is shit," Rhythm said, smiling. "It's one of the little ways life shows that it couldn't care less about us."
