Walking through the mall Dawn window shopped just killing time before she would go home. Knowing that the house would be empty and another sorry message would be on the phone from her father at work. She walked slowly like a ghost passing though the crowd almost unnoticed by all. She stopped seeing an auto parts shop a small smile creped onto her lips as she enter the shop looking around with eyes filled with interest.

Rhythm easily recognised people in the crowd who would rather not be noticed (she herself being one of them). She picked out people who obviously had things on their minds, and even more that had plans. Amidst all of the dark expressions, she saw someone who appeared to have that of interest.

Dawn found a small tool box filled with mini tools she grinned at the tools seeing that there is a full set. She picked it up examining the case it was in it would be small enough to carry with her. She took it over to the front desk and paid for it. As she left the store she put it neatly in her bag happy about her new tool set.

Rhythm sat back and thought. It's not exactly my favourite passtime, this. It's so boring just watching people. She searched in her bag. Drat. No work. She sighed. "God this is boring," she muttered to herself.

Dawn looked around trying to find something she spotted Rhythm, "Excuse me..." She asked in a low voice, "Do you happen to know where a good mechanic is?"

"Mechanic?" Rhythm thought for a moment, before getting out her notepad. "I know there's one around here..." she jabbed her finger at the book as if she had to kill it before she read it. "Yeah, I don't know how reliable this book is. It's pretty old now, but it says that Maikeru Akami works as a mechanic. I know that he does a good job when he works."

Dawn smiled slightly and bowed her head in thanks, "Thank you very much." She said.

"It's alright. I was glad of something to do," she said, sighing. "I'm so used to working all of the time that when I get free time I haven't a clue what to do with myself."

Dawn laughed lightly almost to quiet to be heard. "I know the feeling, I'm Dawn by the way."

"I'm Rhythm. I'm pleased to meet you." She said, standing up and inclining her head (having been brought up in a School establishment, it was second nature for her).

"Nice to meet you Rhythm." She said happy to of met someone that wasn't mean.

"So what brings you here?" Rhythm asked curiously. "I mean, you seem about as lost here as I do almost. I think you'd probably be more at home working, like I am."

"I had some spare time, thought the mall would be a cure to boredom." She replied, "I'm not a fan of the mall but i do like finding cool things. what about you?"

"People watching," she said quietly. "There was nothing else to do and it can be quite fun sometimes. You can tell a lot about people just by seeing their eyes. It's kinda freaky sometimes," she said, laughing nervously.

"I find the way people move and talk tells a lot about them." Dawn said looking at all the people, "people watching is kinda fun."
