Matt pulled into the parking lot, driving sensibly for once. Killing the engine and taking his seatbelt off, he found a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, and got out of the car.

Lighting one and taking a deep drag, he waited for Mello to get out.

He unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the door, stepping out of the car. Once he was out, he shut the door behind him, crumpling up the wrapper of the chocolate bar he just finished.

"So.. what the hell are we going to see, anywway?"

Matt shrugged and spoke around the cigarette. "I unno, sup oo you"

"Your the one who wanted to go to the movies, you choose."

Purposely blowing smoke into Mello's face, he said "Fine. Whatever action film is out."

He let one small cough escape his throat, then glared at Matt. "You know, there are so many other things we could do than sit in a movie theatre and waste over an hour of our day. For example, we could go to a nonpopulated area and I could beat the shit out of you until you beg for mercy, taking the same amout of time as a movie would. The difference being that someone would learn a lesson."

With slightly widened eyes, Matt tried not to choke at the glare. "Umm... can we skip the beating and just have me beg for mercy?"

"That's if I think your plea's are worth overlooking the beating."

"My pleas always involve chocolate, if it helps?"

"Are you sure that's all you want to offer?"

"I could also play the guilt card. After all, you kind of owe it to me not to beat the shit out of me. You run off for four years, I find out from Near of all fucking people that you're gone, you call me and with no questions asked, I'm there pulling your half-destroyed self out of a fire."

He was silent as he contemplated Matt's words, the glare still on his face. "....Good enough.."

Muttering, Matt said, more to himself "By my reckoning, you beating the shit out of me is off the cards forever. Asshole."

Finishing his cigarette, he said "So if you don't want to waste time seeing a movie, what do you want to do?"

He glared more fiercly, his fists curling slightly. "What was that, asshole? Also, why don't we find a nice ditch somewhere, it seems appropriate for the mood, don't you think?"

Matt sighed. "Cool it, Mello. I can't be bothered having a fight. Let's just... I don't know, drive."
