Michael walked Dea into the theatre. Being a Saturday evening it was rather crowded. He noticed a lot of eyes shifting toward her.

"Any movie you'd like to see?" he asked her hoping he wouldn't have to choose.

Dea looked at the posters of the movies playing. Being a Japanese movie theater, it had a lot of anime movies showing. Dea's eyes lit up when she saw the title of one. "That one," she said, pointing to a poster that said Ah, My Goddess.

"Alright then. Follow me." He smiled and went to the ticket booth.

"Two please." The lady handed him the tickets and he led her in.

"Where are you going to want to sit?"

Dea grabbed his hand and ran to the top. She giggled happily as she sat right under the small projector window. She smiled at Michael excitedly.

He smiled back and took her hand. "You're so amazing!" He kissed her hand gently.

She blushed faintly. "Thank you, I suppose. Why so formal?" she asked, referring to how he had kissed her hand.

"You're a goddess... I should be formal," he replied.

"Atashi wa Michael no tomodachi desu. You do not need to be so formal." She smiled at him sweetly.

(("I am your friend." is what she said. However, she said it informally instead of neutral or politely. I'm guessing Michael is speaking in the highest form of politeness, used when talking to the emperor. Dea went from neutral/polite to informal with that sentence))

"Well... I'll try." He smiled.

She smiled back at him and giggled. She was very excited. She'd never seen a movie before, but she supposed it would be similar to the way gods watched humans...

He wrapped his arms around her in an almost loving embrace. "I hope you enjoy this."

Dea hugged him back before pulling away to snuggle into his arm. She watched the screen with her head resting against his shoulder as the lights dimmed. "Do you mind if I use you as a pillow?" she asked in a whisper. "You're comfortable!"

"That's perfectly fine by me." He kissed her cheek now, waiting to be smacked...

Dea felt her heartbeat flutter, but she shrugged it off. Kissing of the cheek was a common gesture between friends in many cultures. Besides, weren't homosexuals usually flamboyant? Though as she spent more time around him, she'd gotten the feeling that he wasn't entirely homosexual at all...

Michael cuddled her close and watched the movie. At no point did he move or stop thinking of her.
