She looked at him, "I want to walk from here." She raised her voice. "Take the cuffs off, I'm no longer being arrested, charged or whatever. There is no use for them and I'm most certainly not walking with them on."

He stopped the car and took out his baretta pointing the steel to her head. "Ask politely." he cocked the gun back loaded. "Try please." obviously he was serious.

Her eyes widened. She was really scared, why would a police officer pull a gun on her. A tear ran down her cheek. "P-p-please, take the cuffs off." She held her breath.

He wiped the tear away from her eye and hugged her gently, his skin was soft like a baby's and voice soothing when he spoke. "I'm not going to hurt you. You have my word." he took off the handcuffs. "I just want you to present yourself better." he waited for her to scream, slap him across the face, some reaction.

She sat there frozen. She didn't move, although she was shaking, she didn't hug back. One minute he was a stuck up cop, then a crazy mother fucker speeding down the road, then he was a psychopath pointing a gun to her head and now he was all sweet. She was afraid to make any sudden movements.

"You wanted to leave right?" he asked this as a legitimate question.

She nodded slowly and turned to open her door. 'Th-thank you." She got out.

"Thank you." he replied. "We'll start tommorow working on the kira case." he told her this as she left.

She nodded and walked in the direction of her home.
