Taking out his handcuffs m arrested him on the spot tightening the cuffs so he couldn't escape. "Your under arrest for prostitution, drug dealing, being under the influence and indecent exposure." he said holding ace's wrist with one hand and grabbing the back of his neck with the other.

"Excuse me sir, I protest. Prostitution in Japan is only illigal if it's organised; I've never sold myself for the purpose of prostitution. I've never dealt drugs, I'm not 'under the influence', and stripping isn't illigal. I'm also under diplomatic immunity; you're not allowed to arrest me according to international law."

M rammed ace's face on a table. "Listen here! I'm under the jursdiction of interpol and japanese police. And there have been various reports of you sexing another young man and women named ren and michael. Sound familiar so don't tell me your rights or laws." he headed toward the exit and threw ace in the back of police care.

"And I'm telling you that it's not illigal, and that if you arrest me, the American Embassy will put you under international trial you idiot!" Ace didn't bother struggling, knowing eventually it would be in his favor not to.

"You know indecent exposure as in having sex in public places is a federal crime, and any kind of drug abuse is a felony, so who says I'm arresting you for prostitution? An by the way america has kept out affairs containing other goverments. Kira will be your judge. Would you like that?" he said pulling awy from the curb.

"It's a private club; you can't pull me up for that. My drug abuse is an addiction, and therefore accounted for under diplomatic immunity considering the fact I have undergone more than a year of institutionalised supervision for it. As well as that, it's true the Government won't do shit against Kira, that's my issue to worry about, but they will pass you a sentence between 10 and 15 years for arresting an American under diplomatic imunity. I promise you, not for a million bucks do you want this to get nasty."

Michael stood in complete shock at what happened... Things never got this bad at home... why hadn't he just stayed...

"Officer..." he finally spoke up, "did you honestly just say he's accused of whoring me out?"

"Actually your little stunts in a private setting count for alot now and days. And mr. um michael I believe it's nothing personal just part my job. I arrest you take you downtown and if they see fit to let you go then I have no more say. So I suggest the both of you enjoy the ride. You can't bust an officer but feel free to talk to my superiors I assure you there eager to talk to you." he said friendly as possible. Turning on the easy listening station he whistled. "So what is your take on all the kira killings? I mean he kills those felons he deems unforgiveable."

"Little stunts in a private setting hardly count as 'public' indecency though, do they. And you can bust an officer if they're breaking international law."

Sighing, Ace said "As for Kira, who the hell cares? Live fast, die young, and that's how it goes."

Stopping at a red light m tilted his head forward and look both ways as if he was crossing the street and just a little kid. "Well maybe we can strike a deal if that's your out take on life. We're eager to solve the kira case but we need your kind of skills to inflitrate the high society and low life criminal criteria." his whistling kept going. "And as for busting 5-0, the fuzz, pigs, whatever you crazy kids call us now and days it wouldn't do any good. With all the cases being closed down out of fear no one would listen. This isn't to argue with your point at all. But kira is a smart guy, I don't support what he does my point is merely this, who do you think he's going to believe a individual of myself who has done nothing but job or you a person who's philsophy ends with die young?" m took no proud gesture or undermined the intelligence of the two individuals it's just he had his own way of going about things after making an arrest.

Michael sat and listened to the conversation... Personally, he had an interest to find Kira, but in all honesty, he wanted to do it on his own time...

"I'm up for it, to be honest..." He turned to Ace. "I don't know about you but I have some personal feelings toward him or her or them, for that matter..." He hoped Ace would aid him. He didn't think he could do it alone...

"You're missing the point, officer. I don't really care if Kira believes me or not. But if you guys down at the station want my-... our help, you're going to have to work on our terms. But I want you to understand Michael here is NOT a criminal, so far as I know; hell, I only met him today."

Shooting a grin at Michael, Ace knew he'd just practically signed on to try and find Kira.

"It doesn't work that way unfortunately. Your going to be a part of team that has more then enough experience but your "talents" are required. We need the craftiest individuals we can get. And so far your names came up without question. Quiet personally you should be flattered." he said still cruising. The traffic in tokyo was horrible, it was no wonder most people walked.

"You know... how the fuck did I get involved if I just moved here not bloody long ago?!" Michael was quite thrown off by all of this talk. And how the hell did he know his name?!

"Bad luck." he replied to michael's comment. Without warning as he kept his calm m put the police car on two wheels to avoid on coming traffic and so they could move faster.
