M made his way through a dancing crowd to a calm quiet booth which hadn't been taken or touched. He had left rei to explore japan and trusted her to be away from him though he kept her in mind. It was time for him to sit back and try to enjoy some type of activity. Though the club erupted with music from it's speaker m was in his own world. His mind was calm and quiet as he analyzed each and every individual.

Dea walked in and looked around. She saw M sitting in a corner, obviously different from everyone else. She walked over to him and smiled. "Hello."

M waved lightly at the lady and seemed to look down at the table twiddling his thumbs, obviously he didn't remember who she was for a single second. quietly he had a million thoughts running through his head.

Dea sat down across from him and looked at him closely. "Maikeru?" she asked.

"That's me." he replied jumping a bit at the thought of someone knowing his actual name. "Can I help you?" he asked curiously.

"My name is Dea. My mother knew you, I think..." She looked at him hopefully.

"I'm sorry but I don't know who your referring to." he replied not attempting to destroy her hope. "Whoever she was I haven't had the best experience with women."

"Her name was Megami. She was a goddess."

As M heard the name he immediately got up but tried to look as non chalant as he possibly could. "Excuse me I think I'm going to get a drink." he replied moving out of the booth he currently occupied and heading straight for the bar.

Dea took this as a good sign. She followed him.

M turned to her and over the roaring music tried to be as calm as possible. "May be you misunderstood me but I am getting a drink, not us." again M turned and headed off to the bar.

"You don't control me, Maikeru. I just want to learn about my mother."

The music became much calmer then before which meant he didn't have to strain his voice to speak with dea. "I'm not trying to control you at all." he replied. As the bar tender came and asked what M's preference was he calmly asked for a apple juice in a glass which must have seemed strange.

"You knew my mother. I never did. Please tell me about her." Dea looked at him pleadingly.

"I don't know what you could mean." he replied taking his apple juice and calmly drinking it. The tangy bitter taste seemed to hint that it had been spiked by the bar tender, perhaps it was mingled with rum or scotch, somehow M knew it wasn't any kind of juice he had tasted before. "Lady I don't know what to tell you."
