| Being a faerie, Brigid was a good singer. She couldn't fake happiness, but she could do pain, loneliness, and anger. She sang into the mic, eyes closed, voice sweet. "And you, bring me to my knees Again All the times, That I could beg you please- In vain All the times That I felt insecure For you And I leave My burdens at the door
But I'm on the outside And I'm looking in I can see through you See your true colors 'Cause inside you're ugly You're ugly like me I can see through you See to the real you
All the times That I felt like this won't end was for you And I taste What I could never have was from you All the times That I cried My intentions Were full of pride But I waste More time than anyone
But I'm on the outside And I'm looking in I can see through you See your true colors 'Cause inside you're ugly You're ugly like me I can see through you See to the real you
All the times That I've cried All this wasted It's all inside And I feel All this pain Stuffed it down It's back again And I lie Here in bed All alone I can't mend But I feel Tomorrow will be okay
But I'm on the outside And I'm looking in I can see through you See your true colors 'Cause inside you're ugly You're ugly like me I can see through you See to the real you." |

| Wesker sat in the crowd, he had to stay near Brigid, he had a feeling she would get paranoid about him running off doing something on his own. " Boring music..." |

| Brigid heard him and smirked. She sang another song, looking him straight in the eyes the whole time. "Telling me to go, But hands beg me to stay. Your lips say that you love, Your eyes say that you hate.
There's truth in your lies, Doubt in your faith. What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies, Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take.
So I, I won't be the one, Be the one to leave this, In pieces. And you, you will be alone, Alone with all your secrets, And regrets. Don't lie.
You promised me the sky, Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms, And chill me to the bone.
There's truth in your lies, Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take.
So I, I won't be the one, Be the one to leave this, In pieces. And you, you will be alone, Alone with all your secrets, And regrets. Don't lie.
So I, I won't be the one, Be the one to leave this, In pieces. And you, you will be alone, Alone with all your secrets, And regrets. Don't lie." |

| Wesker still leaned back on his chair and stared about the club, how he would love to murder every last one of these disgusting humans, being interested in awful music such as this. Orchestra, Classical, Music that requires talent. " Bah..." |

| Brigid looked back at the crowd of people and smiled. She walked off stage and started talking to the owner of the club, who had the horns and hooves of a goat, though the other guests saw nothing. They argued in whispers for a short time, then Brigid walked toward Wesker, a satisfied smile on her face. |

| Brigid nodded. "We're done here. The owner of this place is a satyr and a member of the Summer Court. He agreed to spy for me if I promised to sing four times a week for a year and a day. His reports will go straight to you, of course." |

| Brigid sighed and followed him. "Always with the bad boy act..." she muttered. |

| "You're a human," she reminded him as she opened the door and breathed in the air. It smelled like cigarettes. Brigid wrinkled her nose. |

| Wesker turned around and just about decked Brigid straight in the face. " I am not one of those humans.. I am above them. I am NOT a human." |

| Brigid smirked. "You still want what any human wants. Power, respect, sex...You care about your appearance. You may not be the same as other humans, but you still have the same basic needs." She'd found out what made him tick. Fun. |

| Brigid smiled, but she didn't say anything else. In her mind, she'd won this round. Of course, he would get her back for it. She knew that. And if he couldn't, well, what good was he? |
