"He wont be a baby forever. Besides, I'm sure he'd be great. Maybe he feeds off danger like I feed off blowing up things. Besides, I'm sure it'd take years of practicing to get good at it. What else could he do? Yesterday he tried to kill one of my lizards... He could be a zoologist. But how boring. We both like to kill apparently so it probably is going to be a strong trait."

Kana squeezed her in a tight hug. "But he could die!! He needs to be something safe like a pastry chef!!" Worry was creeping into Kana's voice.

Zema sighed and poked his cheek. "Silly Kana. If he is anything like me he'll get bored of it. I'm his mother and I have to support what ever he wants to do. And you should to as his other parent.. depending on what ever you are that day. He could die being a pastry chef. His bakery broken into or something... "

"F-ing pastry robbers!!" he cried out angrily. He's abbreviated his language so his son wouldn't pick up any bad habit. "I don't want him to die!!" Kana hugged Zema tighter.

Zema frowned, hugging him back and moving her hand up and down in a comforting way. "Don't worry. He wont.. He is a baby, has a whole life in front of him. He'll be fine. Besides... I'll always be there to throw my life into the line of fire."

"Me too!" Kana promised. "I care bout ou--this child." He couldn't bring himself to say 'our child.' That was a privileged he hadn't earned.

"I care about your child too." She said in a reassuring way. "Just promise me you'll let me throw my life in the way for this kid before you do. Because I know you have something to live for..."

Kana laughed. "Yeah, I figured." He stopped hugging Zema and sat up straight. "Can I hold him? Or will he break?"

"No, he wont break. Of course you can hold him." She smiled, obviously happy Kana was paying attention to the baby again instead of worrying.

Kana carefully picked Daisuke up and held him. He looked at him closely. "It's like someone put our faces in a blender, then made it adorable," Kana said in awe. That was his way of saying the baby looked like them and also was cute.

"A blender? Sounds painful. But he took it in stride I suppose." She smiled, enjoying the moment of father holding son. "Let's just hope he doesn't rape a girl and get her pregnant." She added, just because.
