"Not at all." he replied looking around to see that while the street was busy with other discussing what had occured the playground was left vacant to rose and himself. "I would only feel threatened if I was given a ultimatum, that way I would have to participate in the kilings in order to save myself." the thought of kira returning did concern maikeru but not due to any of his actions since he had never been arrested.

"I'm not entirely sure about this but bare with me if you will, do you think kira will pick a target now?" he asked in a quandering manner. "Usually when he makes a display he shows power followed by the announcement of L or the local news stations or even the japanese police."

"But he only goes after criminals with major crimes nothing petty, at least from what I notice that's true. People won't move if they have fear, especially not the wise criminals." he replied soon his phone began ringing. Picking up everyone's phone rang simlutaneously and they picked up also ,a voice began to speak with a echo effect from maikeru and other's phones.

"I am kira and will do what is necessary to provide this world with a god, if anyone continues to pursue me they will find the consequences severe. You will now comply with my orders, I want the names of all criminals and there crimes if this information isn't made public I will kill 12 criminals every hour on the hour. The texts are letting you know my reach is all extending." maikeru worried and looked at rose.

"Tomorrow at 3:00 pm I will make a broadcast once again, first there will be a text sent, followed by another call, then finally there will be a world wide tape played in every country, city, and providences plaza's. This is my world!" the voice clicked off and maikeru turned off his phone slightly wondering where things were going.

Rose hung up her phone and sighed, "I was thinking that the text were to see the movements of the teams looking for him but this new kira is confusing. How could he kill all the criminals with hes asking for the names. the names wont be made public because thats agaist anyones rights and it would be also conserancy to murder which would make everyone a criminal for agreeing to let it happen."

"This kira knows exactly what he's doing. Think about, if they do release criminals names everyone is a suspect and it's a goose chase but if they don't and murders of criminals continue then the police force are suspects. Not to mention tomorrow hes going to make a broadcast, we don't even know if there is more then one kira." maikeru replied looking at rose and thinking about the thousand of possiblities.

"Think about it this way, he's a sociopathic genius but there is a down side to this plan, if everyone did receive the text and call. He could be anywhere on this planet and moved from japan to other spots globally, it has been a good month since we have heard from him probably longer."

"That's the thing I don't believe that he's trying to take suspicon off anyone but himself trying to make it a point that he himself will sacrafice anyone to make sure nobody finds the truth." maikeru took out his phone and logged on to the internet from there taking the times of death and locations of each when they died.

"FBI agents and local law enforcement in the past died each of a different cause and in different ways. But where they before and who was the first to arrive?" he asked rose thinking she would have an idea of where they had been or where they could have possibly been heading giving his cell phone to rose.

Rose looked at the phone for a seconded before handing it back. "I dont know." She replied simply.

Taking the phone maikeru put it in his pocket and looked at rose frowning at her disappointed slightly. "Well may be your surveillance idea will turn out better."

She nodded in agreement. "I hope so."

"How about we meet up when the broadcast comes on tomorrow?" he asked tilting back and forth on the balls of his feet. "We can share information in a crowded area where it looks perfectly normal."

she thought about it for a moment before nodding. "Sounds like a good idea. It would be good to have back up in case something happens."

"Bring thorn." he said. "I figure two of you will make me look better like average students and one got lucky to have 2 dates." maikeru obviously was joking by the grin that spread across his face hoping not to laugh. "If anyone can pull of normal it's us." again maikeru tried to keep a straight face and not laugh but a chuckle did proceed.

Rose rolled her eyes, "Men." She said she knew he was joking though. "I'll see if shes not working."

"Women." he combated back. "Thorn is always working." he pouted slightly.
