Rorschach grabbed a dirty romance novel book off of the shelf and took a seat in the back of the reading area. He gazed at the cover, not believing he actually was reading one of these, but it'd been forever since he and Kana we're together. The title read, Waves of Passion; Nights Among the Sea.

" I really need to stop reading these..."

"Why?" a voice asked. "If you enjoy something, why stop?"

Rorschach jumped into the air from his seat and the book flung into the air, smacking him on the head.

" Well, I feel bad reading them is all, I have a beautiful woman in my life, and yet I'm reading these. "

Brigid smiled at him and tilted her head to the side. She was barefoot and wearing long, flowing robes. Her hair shimmered blue and her wings trailed behind her. She wasn't hiding her true self from him, though anyone else who saw her saw only her mortal disguise. "Not just a woman, if I'm not mistaken."

" Excuse me? "

Rorschach tilted his head at her, how did she know who Kana was...

"Don't look so alarmed," she said softly. "You tell me all about Kana in a few days. We're going to become friends soon. That's why I'm not bothering to hide my appearance."

" Another weirdo with powers..."

Rorschach sighed and re-opened the book, sitting down again.

" What's my new friends name? "

"I have many names. You may call me Brigid or Brigit or Beira. I have no preference." She continued speaking softly. "And I am not weird, William."

" Of course you know my name...."

Rorschach shook his head and began reading a paragraph with a captain, female of course, seducing another ship's captain.

" Alright then, your name kinda sounds like Bridget..."

"It does," she agreed. "You'd enjoy this book more," she said, pulling one out of the shelf. It was the same sort of thing, but this one featured a few drawn pictures and very vulgar language. "That one only has two scenes with actual sexual intercourse. You read it later, curiosity getting the better of you. You rate it three stars." She grinned at him.

" A-Alright then..."

Rorschach took the book and set it down for later, really not planning to read it.

" It's been nice talking to you I suppose..."

She laughed lightly. "It is always interesting to talk to new mortals."

" and It's always nice to meet some new creature..."

Rorschach sat back in the sofa chair, continuing to read his book.

Brigid doubled over in laughter. "N-new? The fey were ancient when the humans first emerged."

" New in my standards..."

Rorschach was getting a bit annoyed from her talking
