Rhythm just needed someone to talk to, and as of yet she knew nobody but the stranger who had so readily announced himself her friend. She had last seen him here, and so all logic said to search here. There was something on her mind, and since she knew noone else...

M was in the library looking up information up information on forensic science as well as psychological torture. Looking at rhythm he waved at her just another fool in world who posessed fear of standing out. "Hello my friend." he tld her in a moderate whisper.

((I answered your post in the graveyard as well.))

"It's really nice to see you," Rhythm said sincerely. "I'm glad. I was sort of looking for someone to talk to. I need to take my mind off something. Would you mind awfully?" Rhythm said meekly.

(Thanks. I think you really are the only one I talk to on this site...)

"Your company is welcome." he replied pulling out a seat next to for rhythm to take at her own wish. "What's on your mind my friend?" he asked fascinated with inner workings of this young women.

((Ditto. Of late everyone else just ignores me. Nothing new.))

"All sorts, as always. But I just kind of needed a friend to talk to. It sounds strange. I never used to bother about people unless I was looking into them, but now I do." Rhythm gave a slightly shaky smile. "When something bothered me, I always used to keep everything to myself. I still do, but I find it nice to talk, surprisingly."

(Aww. Join the club, we've got jackets [and placemats, and little badges...]. But then again, I'm quite like my character in that respect. I'm not good with people.)

"I'm not much of a communicator. Believe it or not but I do love listening so I would say that benefits the both us. Don't you?" he asked looking at her with a warm and and inviting smile. Turning to look at rhythm he kept himself open, alert and making sure she knew he was paying full attention. "Go ahead and tell me what's going on?"

((I respect your character. But for some reason if your a social leper you get sent to counseling. Don't ask why I say that.))

"For now it does, yes. Normally I prefer to listen." Rhythm said. "And would you not think it too much of a cliche if I said it was a long story?"

(Well thank you for that. And yes, alot of people believe I need counselling for my attitude towards work and my extreme lack of social skills. I know how not to insult people, that's about as far as my social skills range. And I don't always know that)

"I woldn't acknowledge the cliche." he told her politely. "I would just respond by saying I have time. Which I do. So please go ahead." he told her leaning back lacing his fingers together. In this light he looked like something out of the old mafia movies.

((Did you ever think you work to much or would you tell me the same thing your character says if I ask why people think you need counseling?))

"Yeah, well. I will try and give a short version. My ex best friend (or only friend) is trying to kill me. I have got no family, and the person who I used to think of as family is now buried six feet under." Rhythm said. Once the words were in the air they sounded quite frank and uncaring, but it was obvious that they weren't. "That's the shortest version possible."

(I know I work too much, there's nothing else to do, and my character also has another correct response. I am very like Rhythm, unlike Spirit, one of my other aliases)

"That's all?" he asked wondering if she was giving him the shortest version of her story because he wasn't on the same intellectual or rather she didn't want to speak. "Sounds like you need a new best friend. I don't want to kill you so I'll be your best friend." he said it calmly like it was everyday something like that may have been heard or said.

((Try not being like your aliases just be you in general. I know it sounds easier then it actually is to accomplish.))

"Well, there's plenty more, but they're the main facts. And yeah, I do." she smiled.

(I don't try to be like them, sometimes friends of mine write them for me. The ones I write are very different from each other and from me, but the ones my friends write almost all are based almost entirely on me. Rhythm is one of such)

"Do you want me to kill your ex friend for you?" he asked this out of concern not because he had a need to kill. "I mean I don't want my new best friend to die." he told her hugging lightly. What made this funny was he had only meet rhythm a few days ago.

"I think I can deal with her, and don't worry, I'm not dying anytime soon." Rhythm said. "Not without a fight anyway."

"Don't take this the wrong way but I wasn't aware anyone as petite as you could fight." he told her laughing to show he was just joking with her. "Then again the best things come in small packages."

Rhythm laughed. "I can fight. I had to. I still do. Walking around by yourself as I am apt to do, you need to know how to protect yourself. But I'm a martial artist, not a street fighter."
