((Well I would say hair pins would control your hair and it's mind that's why there were made buy some individuals use them to hunt. But that's only out of desperation.))

"Why not go on forever? We have been debating for that long." he said smiling at her.

(I have never tried. I can understand the hunting with them. To me, they still look rather lethal)

"Because no one has forever," she said, suddenly solemn and scared, though not as illogically fearful as she had been.

((So you looked up hair pins? I have seen women both professional and otherwise wear them but they aren't harmful to anyone. I'm pretty sure england will alow them perhaps.))

"Who says?" he said laughing and actually pushing her gently toward the next piece so here fear would disperse completely.

(Yes, I did. And if you can't even carry a screwdriver here... I'm not sure whether they would be allowed or not)

Rhythm smiled slightly (the first time in rather a while), and let herself walk slowly towards the next piece. "I don't know. Maybe it's one of those unwritten things."

((They should because eventually people will realize everything is a weapon even words.))

"But you write everything." he combated.

(Words are often more of a weapon than objects)

"I'm not writing right now," she pointed out.

((I don't think so. Everybody has to speak there mind.))

"Because you don't have a pen and paper."

(Yes, I agree with that. But wounds from words often hurt a person more and take longer to heal that wounds with an object (of the same intensity))

"I always have a pen and paper somewhere."

((If your dead then what pain does it matter?))

"Tell that to an officer and be prepared to be searched." he told her bluntly.

(It depends what you believe. For instance, some people believe in rebirth, in which case, the pain may even follow you to your next life. And if you believe in ghosts, or life after death, these are often 'people who have been followed by emotional torment and forced back into the world of the living'. If you believe in the idea of Heaven and Hell, is it possible that your spirit can be troubled even there? There are all sorts of questions, many of which I have discussed at length with Glenn, who is quite open to such suggestions surprisingly.
And also, of the same intensity of pain, equivalent to death by emotional means. That would leave you in a complete mess, and to be honest, I would rather be dead and possibly be free of it, than living through such pain. Secondly, some individuals who are more sensitive than I may be hurt emotionally in the equivalent of a punch. In some cases, this can cause them to commit suicide or other such means. Resulting, as you see, in death. So it really is quite an open subject, and quite an interesting one. [and we seem to have ended up in a debate again])

"No need," Rhythm said, producing a piece of paper from her top pocket, and, more unusually, a pen from the inside of her collar. She smiled slightly. "I knew I must have them on me somewhere." She replaced them.

((Lol I wouldn't call it a debate, okay I would but I'm not going to so technically I wouldn't. One of my friends was born in japan and believes in rebirth and claims there is a spirit world. I 'm not sure why though but I can't prove him wrong.))

"So you lost your pen and paper on your own body." he proclaimed finding it unusual a bit.

(It's sometimes very interesting to look from different beliefs. I do so daily, as I like to see things from all perspectives.)

"Yes," Rhythm said. "I usually do. My mind focuses on other things, so there is no room for simple things such as remembering where I put a pen or paper."

((Everybody has there own heaven and there 'good qualitites' so the same goes for there religion.))

"One day your going to pull it out of the wrong place." he said shaking his head and actually skipping randomly to another piece.

(I don't believe in the Christian heaven (despite Glenn's many persuasions). The idea that some place that could be as they describe seems rather unbelievable to me)

"Probably," she said, smiling. She followed him to the next piece in a calmer fashion: she walked.

((Who knows? There could be multiple heavens and forms of hell and probably pergatory as well. Three places representing where both good and bad people go as well as those who have done both good and bad.))

Maikeru skidded to a halt to come face to face with a etched glass portrait of young women covering her body. "I wonder how much this cost because I really like it."
