Then we should get out of here and get something to eat. He sat up looking at her like had previously he was looking for opening to get out of this place he didn't like people trying to figure him out, he's psychotic plain and simple as that.

"We can't right now. We'd die." She didn't mention that she wasn't hungry fpr food. She didn't want to freak him out too much.

Maikeru held out his arm and was offering it to her. Here eat one of us has to.

She raised her eyebrow at him. "Do you know what your asking?" she asked.

For you to feast on my blood he said casually.

"That sounds a bit melodramatic to me, but it's good enough." She grabbed his arm and bit into it, sucking deeply. She closed her eyes, concentrating on her blood lust. She didn't want to take too much, but he had offered so she intended to get enough. She let him go when she thught she had taken enough. It would leave him feeling lightheaded and weak, but it wouldn't kill him. "Like strawberries, but much sharper," she said to herself.

Maikeru looked at his arm and poked it laughing as he did not his crazy laugh just as if it tickled.

She blinked at him. "I'm glad you aren't unconcious," she said brightly. She was always more pleasant when she wasn't thirsty.

Maikeru passed out after her comment and layed still his vision was blurred and soon turned pitch black. His breathing ceased for a moment and started back out he sweated and didn't know what exactly was happening.

Aveira sunk down next to him. "I'm sorry," she said. "Are you all right?"

Well I'm not dead unfortunately but I guess that isn't exactly to bad a thing. He was feeling okay enough to joke. I'm okay don't worry about it and no apologizing I offered.

"True. But I assumed you knew that there was a chance of this happening." She shrugged. "As long as you aren't dead, I guess." She blinked emotionlessly and walked back to the couch, holding back her sigh of relief quite skillfully. She was very good at hiding her emotions. She'd had three centuries or so of practice, after all.

After 300 years still the same not suprising I suppose. He voice was probably nothing more then delusion set in motion. Maikeru turned his head and fell asleep.

Aveira laughed quietly. oh, so he thought he was smart, did he? Well, guessing games were one thing, actually knowing was another. She sighed. "I'll let him figure it out when he wakes up. This was a fun game, but I've got things to do." She walked over to the couch and picked up the golden key. She walked to the door and put the key in the lock, unlocking the door. She waited exactly ten and a third seconds, not opening it, and then locked it again. Suddenly they were in a small broom closet in the basement of the library. "I fucking love magic," she murmered emotionlessly as she walked out, leaving the door slightly ajar. She threw the key across the room, watching as it vanished back to its box where it belonged. She sighed. Since she used the emergency exit, the little brass key would be hidden somewhere else now. Damn.

Maikeru stayed sleeping he wanted the girl to leave before he woke up by now she had forgotten about the kiss and other things said. His mind was breaking from the inside out in a literal sense.
