Rhythm smiled nervously. Friend? Wow, that isn't something I thought I'd ever have. "I'm glad, you're the first friend I've got in this place." and the first friend in any place, she added silently.

"No I can't say that it rings a bell to me but I have read dean koontz novels especially his odd thomas series." he replied cheerily.
