Trying to Forget

Kana was in a strip club, watching as women danced in their underwear. He was desperately trying to forget about his encounter with Rorschach. He had never had a "gay" encounter before, and he wasn't sure he liked it. No, he hated it.

Zema, in another one of her many forms, had come to the strip job- not to work but to observe. A medium height woman with flawless features. No she was not interested in watching and gaining a thrill, but what a stripper acted like, reasons they might be here. Zema's life was unusual and she might have to disguise as one in the future. Inside a man caught her attention. From his expression he seemed trouble. She approached, an eyebrow arched. "What's troubling ya?" She smiled, a friendly gesture.

He let his eyes run up and down her body appraisingly before looking at her face. "Do I look gay to you?" he asked her.

Her face went blank then she chuckled slightly. "No," She said, amused by what he had asked. That wasn't the usual conversation starter. Her eyes moved around his face, trying to think of what possibly could be going through his mind. "But not everything is what it might appear to be."

"You're right about that," he said. "I had a gay encounter today. I'm now trying to immerse myself in women. You're a woman. Wanna help?" He grinned at her. He knew he was sexy. He also knew he was a jerk.

Zema grinned in response. "You are very attractive, however I dont see how surrounding yourself in women can help you forget a gay encounter." She glanced away, then back at him. "A straight man would shake it off knowing he was straight. Seems like you're trying to hide that you secretly liked it."

He laughed easily and grinned at her. "He kissed me," he lied easily. Lying was second nature to him. "I feel gross. I need someone pretty and female." He stood up and moved closer to her, looking extremely bad boy. "You're very pretty," he added in a sultry tone.

Zema let him approach, her emotion staying the same. "Thank you," She said with a slight giggle. It was compliments about her appearance that didn't flatter her- her appearance changed to much, how could they be so sure all were pretty? She lowered her tone to a whisper. "But I doubt you'd like me in the morning." xD Ah how she tried to be funny.

"Well, that depends entirely on what happens during the night," he said in a silky voice. He stepped even closer so that their faces were inches apart. He was taller than her.

Zema went on her tippy toes, being a bit taller than before. She stared into his eyes, hers empty and untrue. "Wouldn't you rather a strong man?" She grinned playfully.

His eyes flashed dangerously. "I am a strong man. I just need a sexy woman."

She raised her eyebrow. "Ah, I'm so flattered." She said her voice smooth and relaxed. "But I am the best here because I am not a prostitute."
