" I'm coming back soon... Rorschach is starting to shut up more..."

William laid down ontop of the roof and stared at the sky, watching things pass by in the sky. He let out a deep sigh, he really hoped he could come back right now.

Kana lay down next to him and curled up close. A few wounds on his back opened up and he flinched, hoping he wouldn't bleed too much.

William held her close, Rorschach's faint voice called out to him in his mind, he could barely hear him, maybe staying close to Kana really was stopping him.

" I'm looking at the wounds. "

William quickly turned to Kana and gripped his shirt, tearing it off with a quick pull. He stared in shock at the damage Kana had taken.

" W-What happened......"

Kana pulled away angrily, giving William his best glare. "It's nothing serious. I've been through worse."

William turned away for a moment, seeing Kana hurt so badly almost made him faint.

Kana all but threw himself at William and hugged him tightly. A few more wounds opened up, but he didn't care. "Thank you. I missed you so much." His voice broke.

William hugged him back, burying his head in his shoulder, Rorschach was quiet now... very quiet, like a mouse.

Kana shook his head. "I'll be fine. Really. I heal quickly. That's why I had to do this so much." He smiled happily.

William quickly walked over to Kana and picked him up off his feet, gently carrying him off the roof top.
