"Not particularly. However, machines thus far are only as clever as the people who created them." she said, more thinking out loud than directed at anybody.

"Aren't we the logical thinker." he told her speaking indirectly to rhythm, she often made him question what the world could be or what it was though he didn't know if she was aware of any of this. "Tell me something why do you come? I'm still a stranger to you and yet here you are. Meeting me like this, why do it?" he asked while finding a criminal justice book and reading through it. The foresenic science lab was filled with interesting things but it was nothing without some kid of law enforcement.

"Why did I do it..." she repeated the question. "Well, partially out of a small amount of curiosity, and I would expect partially because you seem interesting." She said it quite blankly, as if it were normal.

"I'm sorry to tell you that there's nothing to be curious about, I'm the same as everyone else you ever meet in your life, or at least somewhat and I don't plan on being anything else. Not to mention I'm not very interesting, bizzare yes, unorthodox I've been told constantly. But never in my life was I interesting." the way M described himself may have been depicted as a giant riddle wrapped in a puzzle.

"Well, if you wish, put it a different way. I like puzzles." After his description of himself she expected him to understand that more than some would.

The way rhythm analytically described and perceived him made sense which annoyed visibly. With a slight comedic twitch he was about to come up with something witty and clever figured it would be redirected and backfire on him. "Puzzles can frustrate you." is all M replied. "So where to begin from here, this is your expertise of sorts."

She laughed inwardly at his response. "I have a lot of patience." she said quietly. Then, following his change of subject: "My expertise is... well, aside from writing and music, my expertise is puzzles. Whether it be a child's jigsaw or a murder mystery, puzzles are usually my thing."

"I don't know if any thing on campus as that particular forte of yours." he said scratching his head thinking. "Well we have the rest of the night to explore this university." he said wondering where to head next. "Unless you have work that you can conduct here."

"I have little work left. I am waiting for more to be sent my way. And therefore I have very little to do." She answered his question indirectly.

"You should be more direct or I won't know how to take that, or even how to respond." he replied quiet bluntly. In the middle of they're conversation M heard the janitor passing by the lab they currently occupied.

"Respond how you like," she replied, eyes tracing the patterns in the wall. Her mind was lost in thought as always, and only around 25% of it was actually in the room, having this conversation. The rest was god knows where. But that was normal for her.

"You know if your mind is going to leave your body I would like half of it at least to be currently here with me. Unless you would prefer your body to wonder off to the middle of nowhere. 50% of it is better then less then half, well in my personal experience I believe that to be so." M took to walking to the window and looking at the wide campus ground. In truth he couldn't say such things considering that his mind was in what seemed a thousand places at once.

"My mind is never 50% where my body is." she said simply. "It's always less. It helps me to work."

"Then you may need to break that habit with me since I give you 50% of my thinking process and intelligence. I would give you all of it but then we would be battling wits for days." he replied though not sharply.

Rhythm thought for a moment. "Now the question then is how to pull the rest of my mind back into the conversation." She said it partially to him, and partially to herself.
