M was cautious of rhythm since the machine hadn't spoken to him in the manner he sought. Instead putting a whole hand over the device he put his index finger over it.

M glared at rhythm putting a finger to his lips. "Rhythm this is serious I'm trying to see what happens." he said turning to the machine thinking rhythm had thrown her voice again.

"It wasn't me." Rhythm didn't take offence, she was just eager to see what it had said. "What did it say?"

"I can't hear it unless it talks to me. You see, it talks directly to your mind, making it inaudible for me. The only bad thing is the fact that you have to have contact with it at the time. It can hear you, if you think hard enough. It can't hear your thoughts of course, only the ones that you want it to."

M looked at the machine concentrating somewhat and thinking of what he should say to this device. Accidentally what seemed randomly he spoke out loud. "Pickles." he said waiting for the machine to respond.

"Depends on your perference." he replied to the machine forgetting that rhythm was present until he turned. "Before you ask I'm not crazy." he said with a sort of paranoid face.

"Excuse me while I talk more with this machine." he said looking towards it once more and thinking was seemed to be extremely hard. "Well I do enjoy the sweet kind."

Rhythm fell silent, she was more comfortable that way, it was easier to think. 'hmm... well, I quite like the sweet kind, but I don't know much about pickles. It isn't one of my strong points..'
