Walking through the hallways M checked his watch to make sure he was keeping time accurately. As he entered the forenscie science lab his watched beeped meaning he'd arrived on time like he intended. Looking around he waiting for his strange friend to show. Though the lab was empty M looked over the equipment thoroughly to see what had been tampered with.

Rhythm appeared in the shadows that highlighted the doorway. "Nice to see you," she said, still not entering the room, for reasons unknown. " I see you're on time. That's good."

"I've been taught to be punctual whenever possible." he replied looking at her stance and wondering why she remained still. "You know it's safe." he told her this loosely. "Did something come up and your here to cancel our plans?" he asked hoping that wasn't the case.

"No, I have plenty of time. I have people posing as me for anywhere else I should be." she said. "And yes, at least I should hope so." She looked up at the roof and all around as she walked in, pretending to be checking for danger.

"Has anyone told you lately how pecuilar your acting?" he as a legitimate question turning to view the equipment once again. "It's nothing against you, I was just wondering." he told her believeing he may have come off as random with the question.

"Plenty of times." she said, stopping in her danger-checking. "Though anyone from where I came from would tell you that this kind of thing is perfectly normal there."

"I couldn't stand if you were perfectly normal like the rest of the world, in truth I would lose complete interest in you." he replied walking over to a file cabinet and going through the various material. "So how did you get here anyway? I am pretty sure your not old enough to drive."

"And I in you." she said simply. "I got here because I was driven. It's how I get around almost anywhere, unless I decide to walk."

"Did you take a cab, limousin, or one of those two seater bicycles that just happens to be very entertaing." he replied stopping himself from moving back and fourth to view all of the equipment. "Come to think of it I don't even know where you live."

"An incredibly entertaining 'smart car' actually. It was incredibly entertaining because of the size of it compared to the size of my..." here she inverted her fingers. "..chauffeur"

"I didn't think smart cars existed in this day and age. Though I could just be old." he replied once again battling his wits with hers all in good fun. "Who knows may be I'm wrong."

"Ah but they do. I have had lifts in a few of them. Then again, i have had lifts in all sorts of cars. Even in about 23 cases, in limos." she said, not boasting, as some might have, but more in a kind of bemused fashion.

"I don't like the idea of having a car, or any type of inanimate object being considered smart." he told her nicely. "I've seen the terminator to much I'm pretty sure machines may take over."

"They may do," she said. "But tell me your opinion on this statement: 'If 'smart cars' are so smart, then how come half of the time they break down?'" She was asking purely as the statement revolved in her head.

"Because in any case a machine is still a machine, just like the most intellieng human being is still human." he replied enthusiastically which wasn't in his nature. "Anything else you would like to ask at this time?" he stated simply while finding stool and sitting down.
