Brigid woke up in the temple of fire. She blinked and sat up, rubbing her aching head. She was wearing a red, orange, and yellow tie-dyed mini skirt made of some kind of silk and a sleeveless shirt that covered nothing but her breasts. Both items of clothing were decorated with embroidered flames. Brigid looked around in confusion. It was night and the moon was in the center of the sky. Brigid didn't remember how she got here or even how long ago she left. Her body ached all over and she had a massive headache.

Wesker made his steps toward Brigid, finally finding her in the temple. He let out a chuckle and smirked toward her. " Can't leave you alone can I "

Brigid blushed faintly and sat up straight. "I can take care of myself," she told him, not admitting that it was nice to have someone who cared.

" Try taking better care of yourself then..." Wesker walked over and took a seat where she once was, laughing in his British cackle.

She stuck her tongue out at him and smiled. "You should be more worried about yourself. Since when does the infamous Albert Wesker care about others?" She baited him shamelessly, half flirting, half teasing.

She hugged him, nuzzling him contentedly. It didn't matter that she had no idea what was going on. Wesker was here and she trusted him.

"Of course," Brigid lied. She didn't want to seem weak. "I was looking through this temple and I blacked out."

Brigid felt a glacial chill go down her spine, colder than she was used to. "Three days isn't much in faery time."

"Well it isn't a long time to me, so you shouldn't worry. Honestly, I'll be fine." She hoped. She'd been feeling really weird ever since she'd been kidnapped.

" Well fine then..." Wesker stood up and walked over to Brigid, putting his arms around her waist. " I worry for the one being like me..."

Brigid blushed again and leaned into him. "I love you too," she told him. She drank in his smell, his touch, his voice, and his very being. He really was the only one like her.
