Aveira just looked at him. "You just want a chance to kill me," she said simply. She could feel herself fading more and more. Soon her homunculus would disappear and she would be back in her normal body.

"If I wanted to kill you, you would already be dead already especially in this stae." he replied sharply laying her on the bed and headinbg for the kitchen. "What do you eat?" he asked curiously.

She shook her head. "I'm just a homunculus. This body isn't real. It's an artificial one made out of magic and blood. So far, I haven't been able to make them last much longer than an hour. I'll disappear soon, Maikeru. I'll see you again, though. Maybe next time it'll be in person..."

"Yeah isn't that always my luck, you always have to up and disappear even when your not here." he laughed mildly and then headed off to the massive library of books. It was nothing more then a small corner against both the left and right wall each one having various notes written beside them for M's convenience.

"I thought you wanted revenge. Didn't I hurt your precious Rei?" She asked sarcastically.

"Don't test me." he said with a mellow tone as if she wasn't even a threat to him any longer just a nuisance. "She is with me now and fine. So don't worry your pretty little head." he used the last sentence to return her sarcasm wholesomely with little care or worry since her body would soon enough be gone.

Aveira laughed scornfully. "You can't have us both, M. Though I'm sure you've probably been 'repaid' by Rei. She's so in love with you, though. Too bad you're still in love with me."

M was reaching out for a book on bio medical research which soon slipped from his group and he picked up slowly. "Me and rei haven't done anything, not to mention I don't have feelings for you creature." he said opening up the book and blocking it from aveira's veiw. Research and development was his outlet now, and aveira was trying him and his patience but he kept himself calm as he could be.

Her image flickered, but she was getting a little stronger. "Really? Then why aren't I dead? Why did you offer me food and rest? Why do you keep looking for me? Why, why why..." Her voice was lilting now. She was clearly having fun teasing him.

"Your not dead because I need time to examine this body you inhabit and find a reasonable solution and reason to keep this reasearch continuing. I gave you food and rest because I'm not dark hearted like you. And I looked for you out of boredom." he said politely keeping his focuse on his books to keep his temper from getting best of him.

"Why are you getting so defensive, then?" she teased. She stretched and gazed at him with a smile on her face.

"I'm not being defensive just logical." he said with a calculative attitude putting away his notes for a later date.

"Whatever you say, M-sama," she teased, voice growing flirtatious.

It had been quiet awhile since aveira had called him that so he dismissed her voice and his name as if she hadn't said it at all. "Would you mind if I begin to test your forged body?" he asked politely. "I have research to do and since your not here in the flesh this is the best way to do it."

Grinning mischievously, she nodded. "Of course." She begin taking off her clothes so he could take a better look at her.
