Brigid hugged M lightly. "Would you like to join my Court? You must belong there if my dress feels warm to you."

M hugged his knees to his chest and slumped as bridgid hugged him and thought very hard and long about the question. "I don't want to." he told her very nicely. "I don't play well with others." the childish charm he emitted as if turning back time. As of late he thought he had completely disposed of all the child like qualities in his life but they had merely been dormant.

Brigid sat back, smile still in place. "You don't have to. Being part of my Court simply means that you are part of something larger than yourself. My Court would help you when you are in need, but they won't impose upon your private time."

Still in this fiddle type position m moved his hands so his palms were placed on his knees. He had memories of how everyone who wanted him to join anything had utterly abandoned him. Mizu, angel, and even at one point aveira all who had abandoned him for there loves or own personal vendetta's. "Your going to leave me behind." he told her looking at her with his large eyes. In his heart he wondered if she was capable of feeling anything or understanding him. Maybe she knew or had flashes of what he'd experienced. What had made him feel her essence was warm.

((-dodges mallet- Have you lost your mind!!))

Brigid nodded. "If you don't join my Court, I'm afraid that is inevitable. You see, the only thing I care about is my Court. My faeries. I can't bring myself to care about anything that doesn't interest my Court. At the moment, you do. In the future, you will age and we will not. Then I will be forced to leave you behind. Join the Winter Fey and you will always matter to me.


((No, but if you keep threatening things I love, I'll see to it that you lose yours. *shakes mallet threateningly*))

He thought harder then ever still unsure and hesistant. Al he had done was touch her dress and nothing more. What more could he possible do for her, qustion raced from his mind and the more he thought the more his face changed features shaken but humbled. "Can my friend rei come?" he asking wondering.

((-grabs mallet and slides it away- Stop threatening my head.))

Brigid didn't have to think. "Of course, if she agrees. We take anyone worthy of coming. I know your Rei, and I know she is worthy."

"Oh..okay then." he told her wondering what her intent was to do with him exactly, was she going to punish him when he did wrong or reward when he did good, there was uncertainty. But if she was telling him the truth he wouldn't abandon him like aveira, or mizu or T whom he cared for. "You really won't leave me?" he asked just to make sure. Clearly abandoment had made m him refrain from being able to have confidence in anyone except rei.

She nodded. "My Court is my life. I am the Winter Queen as well as the Unseelie Queen. If you become part of the Winter Court, you will be bound to me."

"I'll..I'll join." he told her wondering what she was planning to do with him, there wasn't really any skill he held that this young women probably didn't have, he would have asked more questions but he was waiting for her to say something smug or superior or even mock him.

Brigid smiled happily. "I'll leave you to tell Rei. I'll come for you both in your dreams tonight. That's the easiest way to get to Faerie." And with that, she disappeared.

He would have cried because once again he was left alone and for the longest time he tried to find rei and failed. Dusting himself off m headed down the aisle of the large church and outside to find rei soon as possible.
